I saw the doctor on March 5th; the doctor prescribed me some medicine, but the pharmacy has not received any information from me to pick up the medicine. I went back to the hospital to find the window, and the person inside said that they would mail it to me. At that time, the address I gave the nurse was the pharmacy's address. I still haven't received the medicine I need. I want to complain. I want to file a complaint with the Commercial Bureau. I want to file a complaint with the BBB.

I recently visited Access Sinai 20Dec2024 With Physician Manasvi K and unfortunately had an extremely negative experience. Manasvi is unprofessional. She walked into my room with out even introducing her self and only said ā€œ what do you need todayā€. As a provider she should’ve introduce herself.

After that I was trying to explain the reason for my visit , and why they send me to her location. She proceeded to say ā€œ why didn’t you go to your provider ā€œ with attitude, and was complaining that now she will have to ask me so many questions and go through my chart . At this point I was already feeling uncomfortable making me feel like she didn’t want to help , I asked if she couldn’t help me that I can go with someone else and the reason I went to that location was because the number I called to schedule an appointment said she was able to help me.

I also explained to her my medical problem , medication I take and how often I get my pain . She started talking to me as if was a little kid and I don’t know how the medication works. I do appreciate the fact that she referred me to get X-rays done. But that’s all, she has to learn how to talk to patients , and be more carrying , compassionate when talking to the patients . I won’t be coming here anymore.

It has good doctors. They saved my sons life more than once due to his complications with asthma. Totally recommended. I have also been hospitalized here and had my 2 children here.

Extremely unprofessional!!! My mother had an appointment to see Cardiologist Dr.Benatar on 3/15 at 8:30am. We received the text confirmation and also my mchart had the appointment. Upon our arrival they informed us that he was on leave since January and they had called us yesterday to inform us. Which is a lie , we checked our missed calls and voicemail. You would think they would update my chart to cancel appointment. This is completely unprofessional that they would not have a replacement being that these patients have heart problems. We never received notice from anyone informing us that he was on leave.

I recently visited Access Sinai on JUNE 28th Physician Manasvi K and unfortunately had an extremely negative experience. Manasvi is extremly unprofessinal. The care provided by her was lacking in respect and compassion towards both myself and my infant. I felt neglected and disrespected during my visit. She was extremly rude.
In light of this, I would recommend considering alternative healthcare options such as the Access Pilsen Health Center for those seeking optimal care for themselves and their infants in a more respectful and compassionate environment. It is important for healthcare providers to prioritize patient well-being and treat individuals with the dignity they deserve. I hope this feedback is taken into consideration for improving the quality of care provided to patients.

I highly advise against seeing BarbaraĀ Doran as your provider. This woman should be removed, as she failed to listen to my concerns as a patient. Establishing a genuine patient-provider relationship is near impossible with her because she's condescending and rude at times. I believe her working in this geographic area with this population on Chicago’s Westside is nothing more than an opportunity to get her student loans paid off. What midwife working with women under the supervision of an OBGYNĀ not test the urine samples of a patient due to their preferred method of contraception? BarbaraĀ Doran, that's who. Unknowingly, I later discovered I was providing urine in a cup like normal but it was being thrown out. Even I know there is room for error with birth control therefore urine should be tested to at least rule out pregnancy. Desperately, I had to go elsewhere to recieve assistance from Dr. Erleine Bautista and Lindsey Sayner NP at Access Cabrini to discover what was going on with me. They were heaven sent. I got a surprise diagnosis (20 wks pregnant) after multiple attempts with Barbara first then tragedy struck shortly after. I can't help but wonder, "what if" Barbara Doran simply did not dismiss my worries when I kept showing up with different abnormal complaints and symptoms like long term bleeding months prior. My thoughts, along with her swab results, lead me to believe it was just a period. I felt horrible and I did not know why. This woman had the nerve to tell me I was looking for a "get fixed quick pill". She lacked empathy and compassion. In that moment, I knew our "relationship" was over. She could no longer hear me for reasons only she knows but I am aware of a few studies. While she did apologize with excuses via MyChart messages, I urge her patients to get a second opinion or avoid her altogether. She does not have your best medical interests in mind or she just didn't have mine. Take it from me, assertively advocate for yourself when it comes to your medical needs. There are people like Barbara Doran who would be made comfortable if you didn't. (RIP Baby Boy 24wks) He was beautiful.

Edit: No one has contacted me and the bleeding I was experiencing turned out to be a very large subchorionic hematoma. This was quickly discovered at Northshore Hospital around 3am (water broke), hours after I was released from Mt. Sinai for being dilated. Just go elsewhere. Skip Access Sinai AND Mt. Sinai hospital. Mt. Sinai Labor and Delivery doctors did not know it was a hematoma. I sat and watched as they stood around the computer looking confused at my ultrasound photos. More doctors even came to view the pictures of the "strange" mass. The head nurse came into my room that afternoon and called it a tumor. My discharge notes says possible fibroid, non specific soft tissue structure separate from placenta. Horrible and traumatic experience!
