We know very little about wheelchairs, but came into the store today to see about buying or renting a wheelchair for my mother. She is dealing with end stage leukemia and can't walk great distances any more, but still wants to take part in as many activities as she can.
The owner was very kind and compassionate toward us. He helped explain the difference between wheelchairs and transport chairs, and based on our need and use case, he guided us to the less expensive transport chair. He also helped show me how to break down the chair for the most compact storage options, how to attach and detach the footrests, and helped my mom test the chair to make sure that it fit her well and would work for our purposes.
We got the chair that she needs to let her continue to enjoy being with the family to the fullest for her remaining time. I cannot recommend Access Medical Equipment enough.

I am a fussy customer and I spent over an hour trying every lift chair in the store and the employee was so nice and knowledgeable. She answered all my zillion of questions and helped me pick, not only a chair for my mother, but my disabled aunt. I am a repeat customer and they are the first place I call for any medical supplies that I need.

I just bought a motorized wheelchair for my father. He was having a lot of trouble turning it on and off and I live 300 miles away. Greg, one of the owners, took the time to go to my dad at his assisted living facility and spent time training him on how to turn it on. He also told me how to use it and told me what my dad was doing wrong. In addition, if needed he will go back out and work with my dad some more!!

I found this place doing search with Goggle Maps, needed to find a place to go get cane tips, for bottom of my canes. 🏑. They were nearby with the dentist I see, in the same building complex. Went in and they had what I needed. Tips were only $3.00 dollars each. Got three! The staff was friendly. They carry walkers, wheelchairs, and electric scooters. And very reasonable priced electric recliners. It is a (retail carrier) of medical equipment, so they do not take insurances. It is self pay. But if you need this type of equipment, this is the place to go.

Their business hours are 9-5. Not convenient for working people. I had to take valuable time off from work to return a wheelchair. And I was charged for a full extra month because they REFUSE to prorate the fee if returned a couple days late (DUE TO THEIR INCONVENIENT BUSINESS HOURS!)

I give you a one star not because of the customer service the lady that helped me was wonderful it was the manager that was rude would not help the lady up front she was very rude in front of the customer which was me will I return again absolutely not due to the manager that was rude to the employee
