Advance Diabetic Supplies was easy to work with. The technicians were helpful, polite, answered all my questions, and worked with me to get my supplies. They contacted my insurance to make sure I could get them, and I called ADS a number of times. Each time, they were polite and solicitous. Received my supplies faster than expected.

This is easily the most incompetent DME supplier that I have ever worked with - and I've been type 1 diabetic for 26 years. They have dropped the ball on my supplies nearly every time I have to reorder. I'm constantly having to call them to get my supplies shipped out. And it seems like my sensors are expiring early, because my last sensor has been expiring about a day before my next supplies are even supposed to ship. The only reason that I am even using them is because Medicaid won't cover anyone else. This company is horrid. Every time I reorder, I get an email saying that it's been confirmed and that someone will reach out if there are any delays. That is a blatant lie. They have never once reached out to me. I have always had to call them to get my supplies shipped. They don't provide any sort of online portal to even check on the status of my supplies. I can understand a delay happening every once in a while. But this is constant. Every. Single. Time. And this effects my health. I have to go back to finger pokes multiple times a day for several days while they piddle around. I am absolutely sick of it.

I don't understand how people are rating this company more than 1 star. The are by far the most incompetent company on this planet! Nobody knows anything when you call and you get transferred a half a dozen times. No one does anything for you if a problem arises. I've been waiting for my supplies for 12 days now and no one cares. I've called a half a dozen times and no one cares to do anything about it. Extremely incompetent people!
Update: it's been 2 days and still no shipment has been made. Called in only to be told it's up to the billing depth to release the order. She then canceled the second order to enter a 3rd order. I sent an email to their quality assurance and have heard nothing from them. NOT SURPRISED. Do they really take these matters seriously or is this the same old canned response you get. I keep asking for a manager or supervisor only to be told no one is available. Is there even a manager or supervisor at all? Sure doesn't seem like it. So now I haven't received any supplies since 12/12 and no one from this company has done ANYTHING. Again, VERY INCOMPETENT.
UPDATE: Still no supplies as of 12/30. And no call back from anyone. I don't think they really take these things seriously at all.

I have been pleased with the service received so far from ADS. I have received two shipments as of November 2024. Both were received intact, well packaged and in a timely manner. I appreciate the email and text message notifications with shipping updates and info.

I don't understand this company, they literally email me, call me, to confirm orders. Then they don't actually ship the order, and you're left waiting around to figure out what happened. After a few days you'll call them asking for a tracking number and then they'll say it wasn't actually shipped because there was an issue. Then rep can't even tell you what the issue is holding up the order. If it's a billing issue they won't even transfer you to billing to talk to someone. They tell you they'll pass along the message and you never hear anything. I've been using them for several years and its hit and miss with order. Don't they realize people need this stuff to monitor their blood sugars?

I have had trouble with every order from this company. They do not know what they are doing. I would not recommend them to anyone. I am currently getting supplies from another company that my insurance recommended and so far they are great. Advanced diabetes just sent an order out to me after I canceled. I do not even have a reader for their products. So now I’m sure that it will affect my insurance coverage. DONT USE ADVANCED DIABETES SUPPLY!!!!!!!!!

I have had excellent service from ADS from initial sign-up, change of address, to issues with sensors. I had problems with a couple of sensors; when I called ADS to report and discuss it, they were extremely helpful. They referred me to the product company and after answering some questions, that company issued replacement sensors and provided a pre-paid box to return the defective ones. Overall, I have had very good customer service from ADS and their associates.

used this service for a few years and NEVER had an easy ordering experience. The online ordering system is useless. The only way to get your order placed is speaking to a person after waiting on hold for who knows how long. Don't bother leaving a message, they won't get back to you. My RX expired and I was never notified until I was trying to order supplies (too late). If they have to approve your supplies through insurance the process takes far too long. No one here seems to understand the sense of urgency of needing your diabetes supplies. Can't believe I put up with these idiots for so long. Do yourself a favor and use a different company.
