DONT BOTHER. My whole pregnancy I felt rushed through every appointment. Towards the end I was told to come in every week for Non Stress Test, at which point they tried to charge me $195 each visit ($65 copay x3) so another $800 the last month of my pregnancy they said because I was also seeing a nurse and the Dr for these apts. (Wasn’t that the case every other appointment?) When I called my insurance to see if this was correct they told me no, I should only pay my regular copay, and I refused to pay the next time they asked me. I never heard anything from my insurance that I would owe anything extra for those visits. It seemed really shady like they were trying to make extra money off me.

When I asked which Dr would be delivering my baby they said whoever was on duty, they didn’t ever tell me that none of the Drs from this practice actually deliver across the street at Desert Regional where I was sent for an induction. So imagine my surprise when I go do deliver my baby via (ended up emergency c section) with OBGYNs I’ve never seen before.

The icing on the cake was when I asked to get some paperwork filled out so my sister could take FMLA leave to come help me with the baby 3 weeks after c-section when my husband had to go back to work. They said NO that I did not need help since I didn’t have complications. I emailed and called repeatedly to speak to whoever made this decision and was told they wouldn’t talk to me about it. I had to find another doctor to see me and sign saying I had a c-section which is an 8 week minimum recovery.

To get my maternity leave papers signed I was told I would have to physically bring them in and pick them up AND pay $25 for the luxury of having them fill it out. I live an hour away and after much protesting was finally able to get them to accept an email copy of the forms. I still had to pay $25.

The whole thing was so stressful dealing with postpartum, c section recovery, and a newborn I was in tears multiple times.

Finally my 6 week postpartum appointment I waited 45 minutes with a newborn in the waiting room, then once I saw the Dr she looked at my scar for two seconds, asked if I had any issues and had me swab myself. Never said anything about returning to exercise or sex, no information on c section recovery past that point. Nothing. Everything I learned I looked up myself.

AND that was when they split the office in half and the other half of the waiting room and exam rooms are now a foot and ankle clinic.

If you have any other option go there. I did not have a good experience with them and I’m going to look for care elsewhere now.

Refusing to send a prescription for my UTI, trying to send me to my primary when I chose this place for my pregnancy and to assist in any pregnancy related issues, instead they are trying to send me to my primary so they don’t have to do it. I should really just change my obgyn if they are going to be so unhelpful.

They told me the fact that my menstrual flooding, I have been having 9-77 day periods every 4 days to 2 weeks, was "not that much" then they smiled and said oh this isn't very much blood and then 4 seconds later said, oh well its probably easier for you to be having this endometrial biopsy because of all this blood. Basically can't see blood and don't know what is normal. For your own safety, do not see these people.

Highly recommend Dr. Pacini!! I recently had surgery with Dr. Pacini and she was wonderful. She gave me stretches to do prior to surgery to prepare me so that it wasn't so hard on my body and was there well in advance of the procedure and spent a great deal of time talking to me about what she would be doing. A+ and very professional. She's a very sweet person too!
Every time I go into the office to see her, there's never a long wait and the staff are very friendly. I highly recommend this practice.

I had an amazing experience with the Palm Springs office. I started to come here when my husband and I wanted to get pregnant. We wanted to make sure I was fertile and take the correct steps to get pregnant. They recommended blood work and ultrasound to see how fertile I am. Chelsea, the PA is such an amazing provider. She really sees you more than a patient and doesn’t leave the room until all your questions are answered.
Once we got pregnant, every medical assistant that took care of us was super nice and friendly. I work in a doctor’s office myself and the receptionist was nice enough to work on my appointments first thing in the morning.
Our daughter came early and Dr. Benitez caught what was going on with my pregnancy right away. I believe they took the correct precautions for my daughter and I.
I met Dr. Pacini in the hospital and she let me know what was the birth plan right away.
Dr. Hassan took over and was also on the same page and took her time to answer any questions before she was born.
After birth she still came around to check on me and make sure I was doing okay before discharging me.
My husband and I are very satisfied with this team. If and when we get pregnant again, we will definitely come back here.

It's taken me almost 3 years to write this review because I was so distraught with how I was treated. My very first ultrasound was treated as a teaching moment for Dr. Valero so the sweet moment I should have had listening to my daughter's heartbeat for the first time was ruined, I was treated more as an after thought when they realized I was still laying there trying to enjoy the moment.
Dr. Benitez had no compassion for my concerns when I was pregnant with my daughter. In the months following up to the birth of my daughter I kept asking her to check my daughter's weight and she ignored my requests because I was also seeing a perinatolgist stating it was their responsibility, but she was my OB? The responsibility also falls on her. My daughter was born small and had to be in NICU for a week which has caused me mental and emotional distress to this day. The only good doctor at the practice Dr. Jadauji, who I had never seen until I was admitted for an emergency C-section and he was the on call doctor. He delivered my daughter so well and left barely a scar.
I have since avoided coming to this practice and I wish they had kept Barbara Welty on.

AVOID, unless you want to be dropped as a patient after having your newborn, and not be seen for your postpartum appointment.

After multiple attempts, Valeria the office manager REFUSED to schedule my 6 week follow up postpartum appointment because allegedly according to their records I had been a no show to 3 previous appointments, when in fact I have rescheduled ahead of time, and the office did not enter that correctly.

I've had no idea about this policy and I've had two previous deliveries here! My daughter was sent to Loma Linda Hospital the day of my last appointment and when I called to reschedule, the girl on the phone stated she would call me back, and never did. I tried calling back to schedule, and they refused to schedule, I asked to email or connect with one of the doctors to explain this was so wrong of just dropping a patient, but Valeria refused to work with me and was awful.

Moral of story, Valeria lacks empathy and customer service and the girls scheduling are messing things up for people who have been following up with care. Clearly you're just a number, and it's a shame because Dr. Pacini and the rest of the doctors, and nurses have always been very kind, nothing compared to the first point of contact when scheduling.

I have mixed feelings about this clinic

Negative
1. I have a 13 month old and and when I went there the first time they told me the baby couldn't be there not even at the waiting area, they sent him outside (locally my husband was there so they left)

2. Today I had an ultrasound and they had me getting undressed to do a vaginal ultrasound, that made no sense since I'm already 17 weeks and they usually do that only when they baby is too small, once the dr got in she said it was gonna be a normal one because of the 17 weeks, the nurse knew it already so why she made me take my clothes off?

3. I had an appointment at 1:15 and they told me to be there early, I arrived at 12:50 and I found out they are in break from 12-1:15.. so why they say to be early when they know they are closed! They ended up opening until 1:30!

4. When they called me (about 30 min later) the nurse started doing the routine and asking me questions, I told her my name 3 times and when she said I was 10 weeks I said what No.. you have someone else's chart! She had the wrong patient!

5. After I met the dr I told her if she could prescribe me with prenatal vitamins, she said they don't do that. I asked why? She said because most pharmacies don't allow it since I can just buy them without insurance, I said well I have a 13 month old and my dr prescribed me those and I got them thru my insurance, she made a big deal but at the end she said okay I will send the prescription

6. They called me from the clinic and said the dr prescribed me aspirin in case I get high blood pressure during the pregnancy I said okay. And asked about the prenatal she said oh no we don't do that, she tried to explained me the same thing the dr did, I said I talked to the dr already and she said she would send it, she said well I'm the one who's sending the prescriptions and I'm not doing that. I was a in shock! Why they make a big deal about prenatal vitamins! My old clinic litter gave them to me at the office!

Positive

1. I met with dr Benitez and she was very nice.

2. Everything is very clean

3. Most employees are very nice
