TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I had an endoscopy done Monday morning and ever since I have been congested, sneezing, having trouble swallowing, and it hurts to drink or eat anything. I was told they would call to check up on me and have yet to receive a call. I was also supposed to receive a prayer before the procedure and never received that. I am very disappointed with the whole thing.

I got to the hospital in an ambulance they took me to a room where I had an EKG, then to my own room in the ER. Everything was quickly done. I had a chest xray, then an MRI, I also had blood drawn two different times. They were very thorough! I got my diagnosis and soon after that I got to go home.

Selma Adventist Health Hospital was excellent in meeting my health crisis. From the time I stepped into the ER through my hospital discharge 3 days later, I only have praise for each person I encountered. I found the staff to be kind, efficient, caring, and professional. As an inpatient, you hear the encounters between staff, and encounters with the other patients near your room. All the staff, from the cleaning persons, to the doctors were so respectful, professional and caring.
We are fortunate to have this hospital in our area.
If you find yourself needing a hospital, from my personal experience, I recommend Selma Adventist Health.

Recently, I came here for an ER visit. Arrived scared and unsure due to a previous visit at another clinic, but they were amazing. They got me in quick and took care of me. The staff is competent and great at what they do. You can tell when a medical staff actually cares about their patients, and this was the place. The male nurse practitioner was amazing and explained everything. I felt so comfortable and relieved. Thank you for taking care of me

I came in on a busy evening just at change to night shift. They really cleared that waiting area fast and I still got great and thorough service. They found my infection and started treatment. Very good given the circumstances. I was able to have my partner with me too. It really helping me feel at ease. My nurse TC was kind and professional. Thanks to all the staff from the man who did my scan to the ladies at the reception area.

I was skeptical about going to the hospital Because years back, I had to wait hours before I was seen by anyone. However, last night was a good experience for me because it didn’t take long at all to get treated and released thank you very much for all the staff for their fast caring service.

Everyone at registration and triage did their jobs very well. At triage, they made sure to ask me questtions regarding my visit to the emergency room. They also, listened to everything I had to say regarding my injuries without feeling rushed. The radiology department was great. They were very careful with me and were extra careful with my injuries. The nurses that helped me out, from my EKG nurse to my pain medication nurse, were very good at their jobs. My attending medical personnel were the best at their job. They explained every exam in detail and handed me informative paperwork that was useful at home. They answered att my questions and was happy with the results. Overall, my visit to Adventist Health Hospital in Selma was great and I was very pleased.
