I had a deep cut on my middle finger with a serrated knife. The front desk was polite and I filled out the normal routine paperwork. The wait was shorter than the ER. The nurse/medical care provider was polite and knowledgeable. She explained the process for the stitches and what to expect. She also made sure I was comfortable after she asked me how I feel about blood/process. She was quick and thorough without making you feel rushed. I was able to schedule a follow up appointment for stitch removal within two weeks no problem. The staff I dealt with today definitely deserve some praise.

So initially I waited an hour after the receptionist told me 15-20 min, no call saying my time was gonna be extended so I called back and was finally able to get in to see someone. The nurse was okay she didn’t seem like she wanted to be there but she has nothing on the doctor who saw me she was extremely condescending and rude while I was just trying to explain to her what was going on. I suggest if you have another option take it, the nurse made a joke about no one wanting to go to that urgent care and I see why people who are seeking medical attention shouldn’t be treated this poorly.

There is absolutely no privacy when checking in. A full waiting room knew what I needed to be seen for. Thank god it wasn’t for something super private but still. Patients shouldn't have to give up their medical privacy to be seen. The front desk person was very nice and said they know it’s a problem but ”There’s no way around it. We have to ask to make sure this is the right place for what you.” Apparently that has to be announced in a quiet waiting room of people. Did I miss a memo and paper and pen have ceased to exist? A quick sheet of paper with the reason for the visit and all the info they are about to make you confirm could be a solution. I’m a simpleton but maybe I've cracked the code.

WARNING. THIS IS NOT AN URGENT CARE. DO NOT TREAT THEM AS SUCH. THEY WILL BILL YOU AS A SPECIALIST AND YOUR INSURANCE WILL NOT COVER IT. DECEPTIVE AND SHADY.

I don’t typically write reviews but this is truly one of the worst facilities I’ve ever been in. This is my third or fourth visit over the years and I have not had a single remotely helpful experience. The receptionist is incredibly rude and apathetic; during my most recent visit I was visibly emotional and she shut the glass on me while I was speaking. They will try to send you to the emergency room for virtually anything that isn’t a stuffy nose, because they are a Cooley Dickinson facility and the hospital will benefit off of patients ‘needing’ those high cost (unnecessary) services that urgent care recommends before even seeing you. The other times I’ve visited for issues clearly listed on the site that qualify for consultation. During those visits I was either not helped at all or looked at briefly and told to go to the hospital for something that could have been fixed with a mild medication. To echo what another reviewer had said, I am not sure how this qualifies as urgent care or what this facility is actually equipped to do. Overall, I have attempted to use the offered services of this location multiple times, but after the absolutely ridiculous attitude of the employees and the inability to help or care in anyway, I will not ever be returning. This is truly the epitome of healthcare as a business.

My accident came at the end of their business hours on a Friday evening, a severe cut on my finger. I did have to wait because several other people were there first. By the time they could see me it was way past their closing time. I was treated politely and professionally by the medical staff. We had a wonderful conversation while they stitched me up. I left with a very up beat sense. It is not always possible for health professionals to deal with people and every situation to everyone's satisfaction. They were concerned and had a sense of humor; plus they listened very well, a trait not always found in the medical world.

Been there with the wife a couple of times and once for myself. we both like the doctors and nurses, the receptionist wasn't too bad but the wait can be since they only one of each on when we go (evenings and weekends ). I still like them better than my primary physician which can never see me due my schedule even when I give them dates that I'm off work (vmga). The best I can say is if they have 1 more doctor and nurse on it would help. Also be there 1 hour before closing they do need a life as well.

I cut my scalp on a weekend and was bleeding profusely so decided to go to the nearest facility, which was AEIOU. After bleeding for 20-30 minutes in their waiting area, I left to go to the weekend hours at Valley Medical Group in Florence. I was seen there promptly and received multiple stitches.

Despite never receiving medical care there, they continue to send me spam. The only way to stop it is to contact their office directly during office hours instead of a simple link to unsubscribe.
