My husband & I, we been coming to this office over 25 yrs. and we are very happy with our doctors. The front office & back office are amazing, friendly & compassionate. My doctor Dr. Michelle Barnett is an angel & a keeper. Kudos to everyone in the office.

Dr. Nichols reached out to me personally and admitted the office/provider were in the wrong and apologized. Which I appreciated. I had already made my decision to use a different provider and contacted the office the week of 4/15 to request my records. I submitted that request 4/22/2024 stated to terminate them as my PCP and included my new practitioner’s information. I received notice from the USPS that I had a certified letter from Ahwatukee FMC 4/23. Assuming it was my records, I went to pick it up and it was a dissolution of services left from Dr. Nichols. It kind of cracked me up that he sent this the same day I submitted my request for my records and terminated them. Coincidentally, I then called the office, as no real surprise, I’d not heard anything from them about my request. And totally in accordance with why I left, no one had even addressed my request for records…8 days after sending it. Needless to say, the I’ve made the right decision in stepping away. And given the continued disregard, I thought it only prudent to provide a 0 star rating…if I could.

I’ve gone to this practice for over 12+ years. Lately the service is beyond sub-par. Really disappointing. My provider is typically pretty good at follow up.

I called regarding lad results on 3/20. Received a call back with vague instructions to address my lab results and asked for more clarification. I was told my practitioner was unavailable the rest of that week on vacation. I requested another provider to address in their stead and they wouldn’t. Waited till the following week and called back on 3/25. Called again on 3/27 and 3/29…still nothing. MIND YOU, I HAD TOLD MY PROVIDER AT MY LAST VISIT 3/14 THAT MY INSURANCE WAS RUNNING OUT AS OF 4/1. I called again on 4/3 as this is the day my provider is in the office. The person that answered said they would get a response from my provider and call me back. No call back. I called AGAIN 4/4 and I told the person who answered that I’d hold until I was at least acknowledged. They came back and said my provider was aware of my questions and had been to busy to address but they would that evening. As of 4/5, I still never heard back from anyone. I called AGAIN 4/8 and was told my provider wanted more labs and an ultrasound…NOW THAT I HAVE NO INSURANCE!

AND for my 3/14 appt, I was charged for two types of visits. One wasn’t covered by my insurance as it was coded as something new to address when it was a routine medication renewal appointment. No new meds. I called to address it and no one has yet to get back to me about it. I was told it’s the provider that does the coding, yet again, nothing from my provider in explanation as to why I was charged for this visit.

Incredibly disappointed in my provider, the follow up and the overall disregard and lack of communication. I drive 30-40 minutes to go to this practice and provider. I’m sad to say that It may be time to look for a new provider.

Michelle B is supportive and really cares about her patients. For the past several years she's been the kindest and most attentive provider I've worked with. The entire staff is friendly. They provide quality referrals, too, when a referral to a specialist is needed. Highly recommend!

I moved to Phoenix and needed a new doctor. I booked my first appointment and all seemed fine as I had no issues. However I never received my lab test results. To get them i would need another appt. I then had an injury and went to a new office so I could see the same doctor. This time though she was not listening. She asked questions, but had she been listening she would have known the answer. I got NO help from her. I called the office back and had put in my record I did not want to see that doctor again. I saw someone new and got help. Best visit that doctor had left the predators. I have not seen the same doctor since. I was given a 12 week prescription. When I went to get a refill I had none. I called and was told I needed a New appointment. With a New doctor. I'm done. Something must be wrong with the management there as they are unable to keep good staff. The first doctor ... she's still there. Maybe problem found.

Michelle Barnett has been my doctor for the last 13 years or so.
Never have I felt more cared for and looked after from a doctor. She is knowledgeable and makes me feel safe to tell her anything going on with my health, mental or physical.

Do not go here.. receptionist who scheduled appointment over phone so sweet! When got in for appointment receptionist that checked me in so rude like she was annoyed with me and doesn’t like dealing with people. I’m not here just because I’m here because I need medical attention. Her snarky rude comments didn’t make it any better. Not asking for above and beyond but just some human kindness

I have been a patient for many years and have never been unhappy. When Cigna dropped Dr. Nichols I changed insurance because I was not going to change my doctor. They develop relationships with their patients, at least they have with me. Knowledgeable and skilled and competent all, and I recommend Dr Nichols and his staff without hesitation.

Excellent practice! I have finally found a family medical center that I trust. Sometimes I have waited a bit longer for appointments, but I have found out this is because they spend the necessary time with every patient. I have also had several appointments they were early for. I am willing to wait when I know it is because they spend time and genuinely care about my health. Very happy with all services here.
