Absolute best experiences I have ever had at an urgent care facility! 5+ Stars
I have traveled quite a bit over the last 10 years and on multiple occasions needed urgent care for unexpected situations. I often dreaded entering, knowing that it would most likely be challenging to go through my complex history, prior illnesses, current situation, and get the needed care timely, and friendly. Unfortunately, I encountered unpleasant experiences in the past, and was hesitant to walk in.
What a difference! difference! Upon entering Alaska Urgent Care, I was greeted professionally, with a smile and asked what they could do to help. I let them know I was traveling from Texas and briefly describe the issue I was welcomed to Alaska and they started immediately to get things going. I was offered the same smile, compassion, and professionalism from everyone. I was out in less than an hour with lab testing completed, a diagnosis confirmed and treatment being sent to the local pharmacy. The receptionist said “I was welcome back anytime, I needed medical assistance while staying in Alaska”. Since the plan is to spend summers in Alaska, it is awesome to know. I have a medical clinic available for any future needs. Thank you to everyone and keep up the fantastic wotk!

I was vacationing in Anchorage but I live in New York. I experienced some kind of bug bite that swelled and itched. I was seen promptly at Alaska Urgent Care. The receptionist was friendly and helpful and they took my insurance. The PA was thorough and requested a second opinion from the MD. Although he wasn’t actually working that day, he consulted anyway and confirmed her diagnosis. Meds were prescribed, they directed me to a pharmacy of my choice, and I was out in 30 minutes. Excellent care, helpful people, and I didn’t miss a minute of my vacation. Grateful!

I love Alaska Urgent Care. The people who work here are very professional, loving and empathetic. From the front desk to the Doctors. Everyone here are nice. I trust them with my families health, every time we needed immediate care this is the place we go. Keep up the good work! God bless everyone!

It was an easy going appointment, I just went for a TB test, there was one person ahead of me and I still waited 45 minutes for the nurse to come get me to head to the back. The nurses and doctors were super nice, my only issue was the wait time. There's absolutely no reason I should have been there an hour and 45 minutes for a TB test. Besides the time, everything else was great. Love the service just not the wait, but I guess that's really wherever you go right? Or.....

Wait time was minimal. Once seen, PA Brown was exceptional in his care and attention. He explained all I needed to know and provided side effect information as well. Excellent care.

I appreciate the fact that this clinic was able to see me in a timely manner. They were honest with me very thorough with me and felt that I should go to the emergency room and I did and I’m thankful that I did because I found out what the problem was, and they were able to help me, I have chose this clinic before each time. Everyone is very professional and very caring. The clinic is clean. I’m seen in a timely manner and because of that I will choose this again. Thank you for doing such a great job for our community.

Wife and I were on a trip from Maryland to Alaska.
After 4 days, I became sick.
Went to Alaska Urgent Care located on Diamond blvd in Anchorage.
Staff was extremely professional and courteous.
Doctor Oswald was professional, courteous and instructed staff to perform xray. Dr Oswald found pneumonia in both lungs and gave me necessary prescriptions for medications to start healing process.
What is amazing to me is that Dr Oswald contacted me daily to check my status and to ensure I was healing. For the remainder is our stay in Alaska, 7 days, Dr Oswald followed up with me to make sure I was healing. He runs an amazing, professional care center.

Shortest wait ever. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. When they realized my condition was beyond their scope of treatment they referred me to a specialist and sent me away free of charge. I was very impressed with the professionalism, courtesy, and generosity.
