This was hands-down the best massage I’ve ever gotten. Volker was recommended by a friend and he did not disappoint. I left feeling re-energized, less tense, and importantly not in pain. I could tell my range of motion and flexibility increased. He did a great job targeting my multiple areas of pain. Volker was super knowledgeable and explained the physiology behind what he was doing which I really appreciated. The atmosphere is also very inviting - with a nice waiting room and tea options. I am bummed that I do not live here - otherwise I would make this my regular massage therapist. Highly recommend! Also would recommend at least a 90 min massage (I thoroughly enjoyed my 2-hour - it was well worth it!)

I was planing a vacation to Alaska, and scheduled a massage at Alaska Wellness factor using recommendations and a gift certificate from my Alaskan family. They advised me of this place because it is privately owned, and the owner is an educated skillful massage therapist with decades of experience. It was very smooth to book an appointment online. The business is located in midtown, only minutes from downtown, surrounded by multiple other businesses and restaurants which made it convenient for combining my shopping and dining plans. It was easy to find, and there was a dedicated parking spot right next to it, only -10 steps away, and accessible entrance. I really enjoyed the neatly furnished, exceptionally clean, light, welcoming interior of the reception room. There was even a set up for tea and coffee, and live plants. The massage room was filled with soft neutral music, a warm massage table with hydraulic height adjustment and luxurious sheets. Interactions with Volker were pleasant. He listened to my needs, and suggested to perform Myofascial Release Therapy, and explained what it is. The technique was new to me but I tried it, and I am glad I did. My body felt so light after the massage, like I was ready to fly. It improved my range of motion and helped with my sleep, which was especially useful after a long flight and the jet lag I had. My overall experience was absolutely fantastic. Any time I am in Alaska, this is the only place I will go for massage, and the first thing I will do!

Alaska Wellness Factor is a little gem in a great location. Volker is a master at myofacial manipulation and is the best LMT I have found in this state. He knows his craft, and is choc full of great tips for optimum functioning of the body you reside in. Only five stars avail, can I add another?

What an amazing healing experience! After my session with Volker I felt centered, and my movements become effortless. Volker assessed my structure beforehand, formulated a plan, and proceeded with the session paying close attention to my body and incorporated several effective methods from various schools of bodywork. I haven’t had a massage in 4 years and wasn’t sure what to expect, I’m usually reluctant to get massages. Upon arriving at Alaska wellness factor I was instantly put at ease with the beautiful professional building . Inside the massage studio it was so peaceful, clean and had beautiful decor, I felt so relaxed and that was before the massage had taken place. After talking with Volker, he made me feel so comfortable and confident with his vast knowledge and my very own customized massage .Volker is extremely professional and attentive, after his massage it left me with an astounding amount of mobility that I hadn’t felt in a long time. My mind was calm and recentered as well. It’s easy to forget about self care, don’t put it off.I highly recommend treating yourself whether you’re in pain or not go get help from Alaska wellness factor!!!!!

Volker is an amazing massage therapist. I've been searching for someone to help me with my mobility and posture, and after just 2 sessions I'm already more limber. My upper back, neck, shoulder have always been a problem for me and they now feel more relaxed than they've ever been. He is very professional and obviously passionate about his work. I highly recommend his services!
