I had bunion surgery and I was in dire need of a scooter. There were no rentals available at the time and Jonathan was very accommodating. When I told him I needed it for comfort & safety he went over & beyond to put a scooter together & had it ready in an hour for pick up! I can’t thank him enough! Outstanding customer service!

5 visits into this place and I had to give a review after my grandmother broke her ankle. We have rented a wheelchair. Purchased shower stool, a back brace and some other miscellaneous items. They have some comfy lift chairs my aunt is looking at for my uncle as well.
It's a small business so remember to support the local guy over the ease of Amazon. Which means they can get busy with a few customers and have had to pause for a deliveryman at their back door when it's just 1 guy working. Just take the time this gives you to look around and maybe pick up some other stuff you didn't know they had or you needed.

I just went for myself after my surgery when I thought I was going to die from the hospital issued no rinse hair wash and they had these cool shower cap that didn't irritate my scalp since I have sensitive skin.

I have referred 3 family members to the shop over Brannon's. I would only go to the other place if they didn't have it or couldn't order it for you. The owners seem responsive and knowledgeable n the question section. Jonathan was really sweet and helpful. The manager seems fair enough as well.

I was in the market for a wheelchair for my Mom. After her hospital stay, they sent her home with a huge wheelchair that wouldn't even fit in certain areas of the house. I stopped by Almaden Medical Market and was very happy with the service. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable about different products and what could work best based on your needs. They took the time to walk me through an ultra light wheelchair mechanics. It has been a great buy. Highly recommend this place if you're in the market for a ultra light wheelchair.

I would just like to say how helpful and nice everyone is who works at this store. The sales people are very friendly and knowledgeable. I had bought the wrong size for a product that they sell. I brought the product back and since I had taken it out of packaging it came with I was informed that it was not returnable. I was disappointed but understood. To my surprise the employee who worked there grabbed me the same product with the size I needed. To my amazement he said I could keep the wrong sized product and he would give me the right size without charge. What a great surprise. That’s fantastic customer service and they will be getting my business from now on. I highly recommend this store to all in need or any type of medical supply. Very reasonably priced also. Thanks a lot Almaden Medical Market! You guys are great!!

I take care of my grandma, and I needed to get a few things for her. I was told at CVS to try this place, and it was a good tip.

Still rather new to the city, I rely on Google Maps to get me to places I don't know. But, as I typically find the case in shopping centers, the directions here sucked. Still, I managed to find it (eventually), and I'm glad I did.

Let me start my review with an apology for not getting either gentleman's name, but they were both super friendly. The one behind the counter seemed rather new, but the one who helped me could've been the manager (or shift leader). He was VERY helpful and REALLY seemed to know his stuff. I went there for, well, something specific, and he was able to lead me to it right away, giving me all sorts of information on the products sold (which was best and why, prices, etc.). Then I remembered something else she's been needing (a pillow for under her knees), and he led me right to it and helped me pick the best one.

Two for two, I decided to try another item (compression socks--I think this is what they're called), and they actually sold them. Not just one but a large section on the wall was devoted to them--knee-highs, thigh-highs, and others. Unfortunately, I couldn't buy a pair because, apparently, they measure the customer's legs to get the right size, which is phenomenal service! I bought a pair at CVS (the largest they had), but the swelling in one of her legs can be bad so that the largest size is just too tight. But, here, they measure first to make certain. And the gentleman offered to go out to my car when I brought my grandma so she wouldn't have to get out, which is excellent service!

Batting a thousand, I thought I'd try for a grand slam with yet another item. And I got my GS because they had the fourth item: a bedside handlebar. Once again, they had multiple products from which to choose. I found the one that would be perfect (I hoped) and got it.

I was also told about the five-day return policy...just in case. Oh, and because I had ended up with more than I intended and hadn't brought a bag (though the items would've been too big for a regular bag), my salesman offered to walk with me to my car, carrying the heavier items! Talk about service (not to mention chivalry)!

Trust me when I say, if you're a caregiver and need the things I mentioned or something else (such as walkers, wheelchairs, toilets, diapers, slip-resistant socks...), go here. If you have questions, you'll get them answered. If you're uncertain, they'll help you figure out the best product.

And maybe when I take my grandma for those socks, I can remember to get names and then will be able to update my review, giving credit where it's due (and steering you to my helpful salesman). 😊

The staff at Almaden Medical Market really came to my rescue when I broke a bone in my foot and needed a knee scooter. I thought I could get by in a walking boot, but the pain was excruciating. My husband called Almaden Medical Market to see if they had any knee scooters to rent, and thankfully, they did! The staff was super friendly and had me scooting around in no time.
