This place is amazing. I really enjoyed the Halibut fish and chips. They are very crispy and tasty. the french fries were delicious. The place is so good with their menu and service. There's always a place to sit and eat even when the line is long. The atmosphere is near the Marina and pleasant. It's worth the drive coming from the San Fernando Valley area for a delicious meal.

Fish was double the price! It surprised us. The cold slaw had to be returned for dressing. But, that said, the views, people and assorted condiments were still SO good! The Andrea’s original fish and chips were not available…

been coming here since i was a little kid and only now as an adult i can really appreciate how good this place is. theres nothing better than viewing the harbor while eating incredibly fresh seafood. they even have a fish market so you can buy your own fresh fish. we got the bouy clam chowder and the captains combo which are both must haves when you go. they have a sauce station and a wide veriety of drinks that includes domestic and imported beers and wines. we got our food only about 10 minutes after we ordered on a sunday afternoon and service couldnt be better. if you were wondering, they do not have a bathroom of their own but if you walk across the parking lot to the Ventura Harbor Village they have plenty of bathrooms there, and may lead to more exploring

I don’t write many reviews but after many many times eating Halibut & Chips this week end the piece where a little smelly….I should have said something. Next day we paid….classic minor food poisoning symptoms.

Absolutely amazing seafood. You order at a counter and find your own seating, there's a large outdoor area with heaters. The captains combo is the way to go - fried shrimp, fish, scallops, calamari and fries. They make an amazing red horseradish sauce that pairs perfectly!

Ordered the clam chowder in the bread bowl, the 2 piece Alaskan Halibut filets and the scallops & chips plate. The clam chowder was phenomenal. The fried scallops are to die for. Crispy on the outside and scallopy goodness in the middle. They melt in your mouth. NOT greasy at all. Ended up bringing half of the scallops & chips plus the filets home. Eyes were bigger than my stomach as they say and portions are pretty big.... I suggest you arrive early. We arrived at 11am. Parking became tough after 12 noon. When we walked out a few hours later, parking lot was packed. Not one spot available.

Dog-friendly patio. Friendly staff. Get in line to order. We got Andria’s fish and chips. The tempura battered fish was fried perfectly! Fries were great, as well. We ordered two fish and chips, but it was so much food, we ended up taking one whole order home! We also had a cup of New England clam chowder, which was good, but being from the east coast it wasn’t the best I’ve had. It was delicious though.

I feel like it's over hyped. The food is pretty good but I won't give it more than that. Ive had significantly better fish, and the fries are just okay. The tarter sauce is great. Prices are kinda high but for the location it ain't too bad. I'd rather eat across the street or somewhere else though
