Terrible Experience – 0 Stars: Dismissive Doctor and Poor Service

I went to this clinic on a Saturday because my primary care doctor’s office is closed on weekends. I had urinary issues, and a medication I took had caused an allergic reaction. From the start, I was disappointed—they didn’t accept my secondary insurance, so I had to pay $102. Once they took me to check my blood pressure, the nurse asked the reason for my visit. I explained that I had two problems, but she told me I could only choose one, as they weren’t allowed to note down more than one issue. She must’ve noticed my surprise because she added that I could tell the doctor about the second problem. I decided to go with the allergy, and when the doctor arrived, he only focused on that.

I explained that my tongue was swollen and red on the right side, just as it had been a few months earlier. I also told him that my primary doctor had already diagnosed it as a reaction to the medication. Despite this, the doctor ignored my explanation and interrupted me, insisting it wasn’t caused by the medication. He then started asking me questions about how I sleep, which had nothing to do with my condition. I tried to explain further, but he wasn’t interested in listening or believing me.

Even though I was frustrated, I asked him to prescribe the same medication that had helped me before. Then, when I brought up my urinary issue, he told me to see my primary care doctor for that. To top it all off, he prescribed me a mouthwash for gingivitis. What on earth!? I went in for an allergic reaction and urinary problems, and he thought a mouthwash for gingivitis was the solution?

Unbelievable! I feel like I wasted $102 on a five-minute consultation and a completely irrelevant prescription.

Overall, I left feeling incredibly frustrated and disrespected. I came in hoping for real help, especially since my primary doctor had already diagnosed the issue, and instead, I felt dismissed and ignored. I give this clinic 0 stars and wouldn’t recommend it or the doctor to anyone. This whole experience left me feeling upset and completely let down.

I went to this urgent care clinic because i had an infected middle finger that had sprouted a nice wound and it was filling with puss. Anyways , the wait was about 15 minutes to get into the room after filling out papers and maybe another 5 minutes for the doctor to arrive. Not too bad.

Doc tells me I just need take a weeks worth of antiobiotics and don’t use the hand / finger too much and also to apply a topical cream.
I didn’t agree with this diagnosis But it turned out to be completely the correct one because after a days worth of antiobiotcs the infection drastically decreases in pain and redness and made the infection go away after 3 days. Good stuff and that’s why we ought not to play our own doctor 👩‍⚕️ if you know what I mean.

I think their entire staff is female as well ? At least during the night but I could just be wrong yeah anyways 5 stars
