There inpatient is Awful CRF feels like A waiting area from jail. one night when I came in I felt like Harming myself.I hit myself in the wall but they didn't care at all the staff was sleeping in the kids area where I was. i feel like apalachee Doesn't help me. Im glad I'm getting Discharge from the cat Team because they didn't do shit sure they help me know some Coping skills but they don't do much the only thing they want is me going to school but I have issues that makes me not wanting to go I have Is social anxiety.They still make me go. Ms Jefferson is rude on the phone yesterday she called me we were having a Conversation She had mentioned that when I call MRT I call to talk to someone about my issue I call because I have Thoughts of Horming myself I call because I want to Is create a safety plan to not Harm myself. But when I get mad I do say that I want to kill myself. I understand that is wrong to say but I can't control it. Ms Jefferson Thinks that I call just to waste their time well hey if I don't call and I have some self Harm thoughts I cut myself and I don't want to do that anymore.

They hung up on me because I questioned them about the lack of care my brother was receiving. They should be shut down or taken over by people who actually wanna do their job and help these people who are suffering mentally. I wouldn’t want my worst enemy here, much less a loved one.

Apalachee Center is absolutely horrible they do not take your problems with real consideration or thought. Communication is terrible. If you try to ask any questions at the front desk cause you get his attitude. They did a genetic test and never sent it to the lab and now can't seem to find the test. Horrible, everything you've ever heard about a government run psychiatric and mental health facility is absolutely accurate.

My mother was here, and was treated terrible. Horrible staff that does not care about their patients, No activities for the patients, no therapy, no group sessions. Nothing, this place should seriously be taken over by new management. These patients that are going through hard time need support… My mom also cannot eat carbs, and they would not feed her anything else.

I was referred to Apalachee center after a suicide attempt.My former caseworker,Dannie Carter,was openly unsympathetic when I was discussing some abuse issues in my past.Miss Carter ignored an email I sent her requesting to be referred to their medical services.I requested to no longer have a caseworker,then suddenly my therapy session at another TMH location was canceled.Absolutely ridiculous.

This was a couple of years ago & I understand the reasoning for the low stars but this review but this isn't for the staff in clinic this review this for Brandon the therapist, not only did he help me in a desperate time of need, he completely changed my whole out look on life & my way of thinking & how negative I used to be, I moved out of Tallahassee with my loving & caring family a few hours away & started a new life. I learned how to change my thought process & because of his help I was able to keep a clear head & keep my anger under control. I now have my own place, I purchased a new car last year, I have a great job, life is finally great & it wouldn't be this way if I didn't have Brandon to help me a couple of years ago.

A huge thank you for helping me & changing my life for the better!!!

How could I forget the best part I got off probation and if you've been on probation you know how that is then I was awarded full sole 100% custody of my daughter and moral of the story is if you want your life to change and you put the effort towards it you can create yourself a beautiful life.

The other reviews about Apalachee don't make sense. My experience with a loved one was outstanding. The psychiatrist on staff nailed my loved one's disorder immediately, the nursing staff was compassionate and helpful, and Deion is the best caseworker. This place saved a person very close to me and I'm forever grateful that they are here.
