Today was the first time I set up my device. But I anticipate a good experience. I was told by a representative that I would have no out of pocket expenses. I truly hope that things go smoothly during our business relationship. The reviews I read after my decision to use this company is not very good.

If you are seeking a company to buy medical supplies, please think twice about Apria. I used them for a couple years and always had the worst experience. Their only communication is via phone and they NEVER contact you. They have the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They NEVER follow up either. Their customer service people have no access to email and you will never get a confirmation, reminder or any communication about your order. I have given so many 5 star reviews but for Apria I am giving them a one star because I can't give them a zero star and because I honestly HATE them.

My insurance changed which is why I switched to Apria for CPAP supplies as they are the only place close to me in-network. Their customer service is atrocious. Their IVR system puts you on hold for 15 minutes then sends you to voicemail. No one calls you back. I've called 3-4 times since last week trying to get CPAP supplies. My prescription was faxed to them twice & they still have no record of me (when I finally called their billing dept. thinking someone would answer to get $). I was thrown back in the queue by billing claiming they were going to check on my account. Guess my order was never put in the system. I would rather pay more & go to Neighborhood CPAP my usual place instead. I will remove or edit this post if someone calls me back today. Doubt that will happen. Maddeningly frustrating. I have also sent a complaint in from their website. I am also requesting UHC remove them as a preferred provider. Apria replied here next day as you can see. I had already emailed them there too yesterday and no reply. I am switching to Neighborhood CPAP in Pelham which provides excellent service.

Ferrah, the manager in Birmingham AL. was the only person to help my husband get his oxygen after a recent move from TN. Apria in TN. would not take care of the matter and left it up to us and the hospital and a new company on how to solve a contract problem. The contract was with Apria in TN. But somehow we came across an angel who took over the problem and found a way for Apria to get my husband the oxygen he was owed. This lady went way out of her way to help us and we sure do appreciate the respect she has for her customers.

I was promptly and completely properly fitted for my mask. The salesperson was patient and understanding of my plight. She explained everything about different masks and their purposes . Great customer service.

I am sooooo upset with this company! The service is horrible and the customer service department are liars. They delivered an oxygen tank to my mother and assured her that the delivery would be TO THE FRONT DOOR. They left the oxygen tank at the bottom of the steps. There are 17 steps leading to the door and they left the tank at the bottom. They had no regard for whoever was receiving the tank. The tank was upwards of 50+ lbs and my mom was not able to get the tank up the steps. She called the service center and told them the problem and they told her they were sending someone out to correct the problem and bring the tank up the steps for her. No one ever showed up. This company had no regard to when she was in need of the oxygen nor did they care how she was going to get access to use it. My mother had to call distant family in the middle of the night to come and bring the oxygen tank up the stairs to her so that she could use it. I would not recommend this company to ANYONE. If there was a rating for less than one star that would be more acceptable because one star is entirely too generous.

RUN RUN RUN!!! If I could give a zero, I would. I wish I had read the reviews before using this company for my medical equipment need. I only used their equipment for 7 days but they are billing me for an additional 22 days. My care was completed December 30th, but they are billing me through January 21st. The equipment was back in the possession of their sales rep the beginning of January. I should not be charged anything for January and no one at Apria is interested in correcting this billing error. In fact, after reviewing my payment receipts and the payments made by my insurance company, we are both due a refund. I should not have to pay for the break in communication between the sales rep and Apria's Billing Department and there definitely should be a law against medical companies filing fraudulent claims to insurance companies and swindling patients. My advice, seek other options before using this company.
