I want to give a shoutout to how prompt and responsive Dr. Julie Robinson and the Arete Family Care team is in Anchorage, AK. During our last Medicare wellness check we agreed I needed to double a medication but first we needed to give the double dose 3 months. I had enough medication to last the three months and then I would run out. When I went for the lab test Dr. Julie Robinson was on vacation but only two days after my test I received a call on a Sunday that my medication had been updated. Now that is prompt and the way a Medical team should work.

This was the worst medical care I have ever received. You can never talk to someone directly and even with urgent matters, you have to wait for a response. I had a script that was sent to a pharmacy that had no stock. When I informed them of the situation, no one seemed to bother to help me. I kept leaving messages and calling saying that I had no chronic medication left and all I needed was the script and was then told I had to see the DR again (and would have to wait a week)! They do not care about patients well being. I have never been treated this way in my life.

Finally picked a practice to have my child and I established and well visits completed. Now I'm searching for a new practice for us both.

I have never had a doctor code things the way this doctor did, leaving me with two bills that should of been part of my yearly checkup. When I asked it was pretty much a, "too bad!"

My child was given a referral for a type of therapy. The person we were referred to asked that she have an additional referral for a different type of therapy. The doctor at Arete who I have set up as my childs primary caregiver is refusing to put in that referral. Why have a primary doctor if they can't help refer a patient? The place we are trying to be seen at requires referrals from a primary doctor. So now the evaluation my child needs will be pushed out even further as I wait and get established and a new practice.

I've never experience anything like this before at a medical office!

My husband loves it here! He raved about it so much I’m considering having our entire family go here, he couldn’t say enough good things. The staff was friendly, the dr thoroughly explained his situation to him and what to do to help, follow up appointments. Highly recommend!

The doctor I see has been great. The fact that you can't call and talk to anyone over the phone is horrible. They only message through the Athena Health patient portal. It takes all day or the next day to get any response. You're basically hanging in limbo waiting on a response.

I absolutely love Arete Family Care! We are so thankful for Dr.Lemmons! Love, love, love her! My daughter has been experiencing some medical issues and Dr. Lemmons has been amazing with us! It’s a relief to be getting some answers and my daughter finally feels listened to and validated. There are soooo many amazing staff there….Virginia, who works the front desk as smoothly as a conductor leading an orchestra(she is such a blessing!); Rachael, the phenomenal manager who makes us feel so welcome; Krystal and Mars (sorry if I am misspelling names) the phlebotomist extraordinaires!!!! I could go on and on….Thank you all for such amazing care!!! We appreciate you more than words can express!

Amazing friendly staff at Arete. I see Dr. Julie Robinson and she is very warm, compassionate, and gives me a day in my care. Got labs done and the phlebotomist was so smooth, quick, and proficient.
