Great staff but security likes to stand their ground like they’re above everyone else. Demanding at the already stressed patients. Understanding that they have rules, they can use a proper approach. We’ve been here for hours waiting patiently watching security escalate situations that didn’t need to be escalated because the person they were demanding was responding respectfully and the security themselves were using a strong and disrespectful approach, as if they were trying to instigate it. We watched a security turn around and say “you better watch your back homeboy” after a conversation with a patiently waiting patient who had to stand in the back due to lack of chairs.

My mom is a Kaiser patient, however due to an emergency she ended up at arrowhead and was under their care for two days then transferred to Kaiser to continue her care. I want to recognize nurse Edgar RN working ED and Danial RN who both provided excellent and caring care to my mother. I’m sorry to say that the care provided by Kaiser RN in Ontario was poor and lacked empathy. Thank you nurses at Arrowhead head for proving such good care to your patients.

This hospital needs to be reported by CDPH and JCO. Why did you not have a system set in place to expedite the process based on symptoms? If I come into the ER with Flu/ Covid like symptoms. One of the first things that should be done is a nasal swab. Why have somebody wait three hours in the ER potentially affecting others without even being properly screened? Too much registry nurses, not enough internal staff.

I have to honest about this hospital. I've been here many times for questionable reasons I will not disclose here. Honestly, you've seen my face before, thank you taking care of me. I have something to say though, I'm trying to help the next person out there because I took my time to write this, this is not an angry review. Regardless of whether or not the hospital sees this or the receptionist sees this, what you did to me was not okay. You saw the condition I was in that day, but because of the way you treated me, I did the mature thing but still, I went home and screamed. I was hurting. You could see I was hurting. I was in public. At one point, the second my condition was only getting worse, I just left. My family was highly concerned and that's the thing, some people just don't care. For anyone reading this, I will say this as nicely as possible, there are other hospitals. This is the internet and just be careful, I had to leave for my own safety. My stay there alone was a bit traumatizing and I'm fine now. The saddest part is I love this hospital, but the receptionist was very cruel to me. I didn't take what you did or said personally, but please stop. Respect me and my family please, we are going through something and it was not your place to laugh at me. I was in public and it was insensitive. Thanks.

I took my mom to the ER here. Worst experience ever. Andrea (i think that was her name), the nurse checking us in was so rude, no compassion whatsoever.
My mom was complaining of acute back pain. Little did we know her kidney was failing. Andrea at the front said, "We only treat emergencies here. Take her home, we can't do anything for her here. What do you want us to do?" So then I asked if they couldn't do anything else to get her pain under control. Andrea looked so mad once I said that and signed us in.
The security shoved was yelling and shoving people.
They did labs on my mom and saw that my mom's kidney wasn't working correctly but they didn't investigate further.

By far this was the worst trip to the ER. Couple days later my mom went to another hospital to get an emergency surgery to save her kidney.

The healthcare workers on the emergency side are very nice and very helpful. On the outpatient side they’re rude, not helpful at all. And give you dirty looks. They expect you to know where to go, asking questions gets you no where w any of them. They are very catty. The healthcare workers should be considerate and try to help people, it’s their job!!

Very unprofessional. I went to this hospital because I scheduled a papsmear with my OBGYN. This was my second one ever. I showed up to appointment early and was checked in by my appointment time. I was waiting for two hours later than my appointment time, when they finally saw me. When the doctor walked in, three medical students walked in after her as I was already pants-less and on the sirups. I was not asked permission or consent for other people other than my doctor to be in the room with me. Then, one of the medical students performed the papsmear on me also without asking for my consent and the other students were looking under the sheet at my private parts. I understand that students need to learn somehow, but no warning and no asking of my permission is extremely unprofessional and I felt EXTREMELY uncomfortable and angry. I will do anything not to go back there.
