The nurse/caregivers were very personable and (of course) professional. I was able to be present at all the treatments and was impressed with the bedside manner and care. In addition, their experience allowed them to effectively manage the more routine efforts of the homecare subcontractors

I am so impressed with this company and the employees. I definately needed home health care to recover from surgical wounds and an extended hospital stay. I was a lucky person having had a kind,caring and knowledgeable nurse. I was back to normal in no time. Highly recommend.

Will never use again. Not healed. After couple weeks nurses decided didn't want to treat me. Put on wound on a Thursday. They discharged me same day with out telling me or home health. Referral appointment with real Dr wasn't for another 2 weeks. When the idiot Thomas put the woundvac on along with his "trainer" they didn't put any drape down for the bridge from my ishial wound to my hip before putting and taping down the black foam. Wound vac was on 5 days before home health could come and the foam direct on skin caused more issues. Called main office to complain and no one would assist. Athena sucks and I will never use the again nor will I ever recommend them to any one. In fact I will openly tell anyone who wants to here my experience to stay away from Athena.

Extremely well cared for!! I couldn't have asked for a better group of specialists. Excellent communication, timely, knowledgeable, compassionate, so very kind and humorous at times (when I needed it the most!). It was hard saying goodbye to them. ?

We have a strong solid partnership with Athena when caring for our home health patients that require wound care. I’ve worked with Aleca on the marketing side and Nursing side and have communications with Athena internal team and Marketing. I can’t say enough great things about this company. We’ve extended our partnership to our sister company in Washington as well!!
First office staff Ana and Beckah are amazing!! Communication is outstanding and they always answer any referral questions or concerns.
Dani,Shelly and Eddie are some of the most passionate NPs I’ve ever worked with they communicate needs of the patients without hesitation and a joy to work with. Lastly Tanya!! She established the Aleca home Health and Athena partnership with me she communicates constantly with me on patient referrals and care. She is top notch!! Finally the care this company provides is beyond measure I’ve worked with many patients needing extensive wound care and Athena was able to provide the best care and treatment without their care on my own… managing these wounds would have been challenging to say the least! I would recommend them to anyone needing wound care at home. From start to finish they are an awesome amazing caring and effective team!!
