Edan, Sara, Debbie, Josh and the evening team create a friendly environment for folks to do their PT and also have some fun (name that tune, anyone?). Edan was especially engaged and knowledgeable when it came to the OT for my broken wrist; she’s really talented and great at explaining complicated medical conditions in plain English. I highly recommend her if you need OT!

A few months ago had rehab after knee surgery. The staff was nice but I believe overbooked with patients. My first few minutes were spent with a physical therapist and the remaining time a very sweet high school student instructed me through my exercises while performing other tasks. I eventually felt I could continue at home by myself without paying them. I was also encouraged to sign up with another person who checked in with you online. Waste of money. I also made the mistake of signing up on the Athletico app to have copays drafted. They overcharged me and after several months and phone calls, no reimbursement was given. I only decided to go here because it was closer than my doctor's office. My husband and I were both happy with rehab we had here a few years ago. You will definitely be able to rehab here but don't expect individual attention.

Update:

The billing department did respond making the necessary payment adjustment with refunds.

Efforts to resolve this issue with the billing department has been unsuccessful and I've filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Athletico has erroneously charged my credit card which they refuse to remove from their files. They charged my card for a session from February of 2020. I paid my copay at each PT visit. Careful about sharing your information with this business.

My dad had physical therapy here after his shoulder replacement surgery. The staff was patient and worked with him to ensure the surgery was as successful as possible. After attending all the assigned therapy he got back nearly full range of motion. The surgeon, who did an awesome job, didn’t think he’d get so much motion back. Great job athletico!

My therapy was going well until I contracted COVID at the facility. When I arrived the clerk was coughing and had a mask partially covering her face. During the session I learned that multiple staffers had either called in sick (they were short-staffed that day) or been to urgent care. My symptoms started two days later - I had not been exposed anywhere else.

Josh and his team at Athletico in Antioch are top notch. Josh is both knowledgeable and personable. He accurately helped diagnose my injury right away, and worked with me on my timeline towards feeling stronger and better. Everyone on staff is kind and knowledgeable, from the aids to Danielle at the front desk who always warmly greets patients by name. The friendly and relaxed atmosphere takes the pressure off and allows for excellent personalized, guided stretching and strengthening workouts with your health goals and needs in mind. I would highly recommend this location to anyone in need of PT.

This is the best PT facility that I have encountered in years. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and know how to work with clients. The place is clean, large and well laid out. The equipment is current as well.

I'm very grateful for the Athletico Antioch team that provided me with excellent therapy for my injured ankle over the last 3 months. It was apparent that the therapists are passionate about what they do. Overall, very good experience and outcome. The whole staff was great to work with.
