The counselors are wonderful, now if only a few would stay long term. I’d give them 5 starts, I’d give the office a 1.
The office seems incompetent. They drop the ball, don’t return calls, say they’ll get you placed with another provider when one leaves (happens all the time) then don’t unless you pester them for MONTHS. There is absolutely no consistency. It’s incredibly frustrating. Dont waste your time unless you have help from the school or your pcp bc otherwise they won’t ever call you back. I understand there are students rotating but this practice is not conducive to individuals that need long term help. They should let you know you will never have a provider longer than one year. Changing providers every 6 months to a year, doesn’t work for anyone to get better. You will not receive consistent care, you will not receive basic consideration when providers leave and you need to change bc of their program, you will be treated as a burden when you request you be placed with a new provider bc the last one left after a whole 8 months. You are guaranteed frustration here.
