I had my baby here a few weeks ago and it was an amazing experience! The labor and delivery nurses are the most amazing people ever! I was here for a week and they were all so helpful! One of the nurses really made my stay special and that was nurse Sugeily! I had her for 3-4 days before being discharged and She was always so helpful and happy and informative and always there when I needed her, she was beyond helpful for me and my baby, she was great with explaining everything very thoroughly. It was kinda bitter sweet to leave, all the women there made it feel very welcoming and homey. I thank all the labor and delivery staff very much!!

My second time at this facility (had a c-section 5 years ago, & today i had sinus surgery here). Staff is so thorough, skilled, knowledgeable and reassuring. Even got sent home today earlier than expected! They made both experiences go as smoothly as possible for me, wonderful team of people!

Dr. Cayo performed my thyroid surgery successfully. Both she and her nurse Becky were very knowledgeable and really listened to all of my concerns. In fact, everyone I met prior to surgery was very kind and attentive to all my needs. I felt like I was in good hands, which I was. Highly recommend! Thank you.

I went into the ER last night with excruciating back pain, to the point where I was blacking out. I was seen right away, however the nurse was condescending and wasn’t listening to what I was saying. I had to repeat myself often. She then proceeded to tell me I had to take my top and bra off for X-rays and additional tests. My step son was in the room with my partner and I had to ask him to leave as the nurse started to undress me. She should have asked if it was ok first. It made me and my step son uncomfortable.

The nurse then laid me down on the bed, but refused to let me use a pillow. My step son grabbed one for me so I’d be comfortable. The nurse practitioner came in and questioned why I was there. I calmly told her that Urgent Care was closed for the night and I needed immediate attention. She was also rude and condescending. She then told me I wasn’t eligible for an X-ray or MRI because my situation wasn’t “emergent “ which made me feel devalued and unworthy of care that I desperately needed.

I was given a muscle relaxer and a pain pill, and was told by the nurse that I’d have to give urine. Instead of handing me the pills, she poured them into my mouth (while I was laying down), nearly choking me. I laid there for another 30 - 45 min, when the nurse practitioner came in to evaluate my pain, told me there was nothing else she could do for me, and told me it was my choice whether or not I wanted to leave.

Someone promptly came in to ensure that my method of payment was on file and I was quickly discharged. My mom was a nurse for 35+ years and I recruit clinical leadership positions for a career, so I believe I have a solid frame of reference to what good care looks like. I found my care last night to be uncaring and incompetent. I plan to escalate this further, especially because after reading other comments about the ER, it sounds like this is an ongoing issue. My partner also went to the ER about a year ago where he also had a similar experience.

It was great! All of the Nurses and Drs. made me very comfortable and calmed my nervousness! I felt as if I could totally be myself with them and we had a few good laughs initiated by me! They thanked me for adding humor to their day!

Dont come here if you're on peritoneal dialysis. They have the machines, but very little of staff knows how to use the machines, or how to deal with repeated error messages from machine, or how to disconnect people timely. They call other staff and are reading from a manual. Consequently patients are still connected to peritoneal dialysis machine mid day while they are still trying to figure it out, and they should be disconnected in the morning. And patients miss other needed services such as walking with physical therapy because they are still connected to a dialysis machine. Patients would be better off to do manual peritoneal dialysis in hospital than suffer this daily untrained staff situation as an inpatient. It affects the patients outcome and health holding up other departments care for patients. It's clearly a management issue that staff aren't properly trained.

I give a 5 for the care. But here's my grip. My wife is going through chemo. I sit with her through it. I'm a pretzel for days after each treatment. Your chairs in the infusion center are the worst!!! Can you do something for the people who are supporting their loved one. So they can sit with them!
