Gave a one star for office STAFF. They leave a LOT to be desired!! I have a 28 year old who suffered a severe traumatic brain injury. He had recently been in the hospital with a UTI that turned septic. I called on a Thursday morning 9 am. Told them I needed to get a urine sample but didn’t have a straight cath kit for the nurse to get a sample. I had drive to Tarentum later that day after calling several times to see when the order would be ready. They NEVER called me! I had to personally go down to Vandergrift office to ask. By then was 2pm. Nurse gave me the order then ran to tarentum BLACKBURN’S pharmacy. Came back to Vandergrift to drop urine sample off to lab. Friday came and went and NEVER HEARD A THING!!! Talked to staff member, a young girl, Nicole. She kept talking over me and didn’t offer ANY SOLUTIONS as to what to do if my son was in pain while awaiting results. My son can’t walk or talk. Nicole was very rude and unsympathetic to my situation. They make excuses as to why they are not following thru with orders. If you have a more severe case to deal with…DO NOT GO TO VANDERGRIFT!! They are NOT professional and don’t go out of their way to help you!!

The best place to go if you have trouble getting blood work. I have tried many times at the doctor’s office for them to draw blood. Finally, I’ve said I’ll just go to Vandergrift. They always get it instantly. If you don’t need to fast it’s best to go later morning or afternoon. Diana

Exceptional! I had 3 tests to be done. I was sincerely welcome by a kind impersonable intake person who had me quickly on my way to my first test. The two phlebotomists were very friendly and made the blood draw actually pleasant. Then on to my chest x-ray and EKG, again very personable thorough and efficient clinicians. I did not know that vandergriff had such a wonderful place to get test done. Bravo ahn
