My 94 year-old mother is completely dependent on her walker. We visited AZ MediQuip on Bell Rd today to have it checked out. to avoid any issues.

Andrew was fantastic. Greeted us as soon as we walked in the door and was very friendly.

He was kind enough to check the walker out. We had some questions and he answered them knowledgably.

I'm pretty sure Andrew actually enjoys his job. You don't see that much.

AZ MediQuip has lots of stuff in stock that sometimes we need on short notice. Faster than Amazon...

We'll be back, and look forward to Andrew helping us again.

Our 1st experience was amazing ! Andrea was so wonderful , she went above and beyond for us. As a nurse of 40 + years I can say i was really impressed with her knowledge of medical equipment.
I took a couple of brochures to share with the medical practice I work with.
What a breath of fresh air to have people who really care about who they are serving .

Andrew was patient and so helpful explaining specifically different walker/wheelchair options. He was able to also fix existing walkers we brought in. Thank you for your kindness and time. Plus NOT being a high pressure salesman because that's a turnoff.

I have been in their store multiple times. The staff is always extremely nice, knowledgeable and honest . We just had a chair delivered for my mom today and he was even very nice

First, thanks for reading this...

My $2,600 purchase was never completed. My electric wheelchair showed up at the store at 4015 East Bell Road but not the larger capacity battery that I ordered. I informed manager Andrea that I would come back to pick up everything ALL at once when the correct battery arrived.
Andrea let me know it could take a couple weeks but after 4 weeks I got a call from the manufacturer telling me it would be upwards of another month for my battery to arrive.
I declined that option and cancelled the battery and went back to the store for my refund .
Andrea gave me a receipt for the order refund and I never got my chec

I am completely unsatisfied with this failed purchase and refund.

UPDATE: (6/25/24)

Less than 2 hours after leaving this review here and on Facebook and answering their survey I was contacted on a Saturday by Andrew who told me that he was instructed by his Director of Operations to refund the amount to my card. I use a wheelchair service to get around and need a days notice to get around and told him I'd be there Monday when they reopen. When I got there I was greeted by this Director of Operatoins, Evan. He claimed that he processed a refund to an employees Bank acct to make sure it went through. He said it posted within minutes. However, that did not happen in my case. He told me it was my banks issue but after going to my bank to find what was going on, the bank informed me that if it was there that it would be in a state of processing before it shows as pending. I was then told in no uncertain terms that there was no money sent by the company that was processing or pending.
I called back the store and got the run-around again.
Then I called the corporate office and was able to get the accounts payable person named Drew and he explained he never received a refund check request the previous week. I told him that Evan claimed he was out sick in which he replied that he was not there Thursday and Friday that week but still never saw a request that Monday or earlier in the week. Then I get a call and email from Andrea stating that Evan was wrong about how quick a refund would be in my card. Andrea asserted that he should've never told me that it would be within moments because he had a conversation online with the person in charge of such things and they told him it would not be so quick. Evan wasn't brave enough to call me on his own so he pawned it off on poor Andrea. So basically he had an online conversation finding out he was wrong and instead of correcting it himself he copied the conversation and sent it to Andrea. Who then emailed it to me as she was calling me to tell me about it. I knew something was up with this Evan guy because the card he gave me in case there were further issues had a non working number he wrote on it. (That he personally wrote on the card.)
The man has no scruples and I should've known he was lying about the accounts payable being sick.

Andrea really got stuck in the middle of this whole deal. I can tell she cares because at one point I had to let her know not to take it personal and once I explained to her that I'm not taking it personally and that she shouldn't either because I wasn't yelling at her and wasn't cursing her out. She didn't deserve that kinda behavior. Now, Evan, He never took responsibility He was constantly blaming the manufacturer for the original issue, then he threw the accounts payable guy, Drew under the bus saying dude was sick and it wasn't Evans fault or his stores fault. He didn't even check to make sure everything had gone through. And the response he sent to my survey they sent me was the same response you see above. He copy and pasted that too. That's how he does his job, copy and paste!
This company should fire or demote Evan or at least coach him on how to handle such issues and they should probably give Andrea a raise and/or promotion.
