I cannot thank the nursing and X-ray staff enough for the exceptional care they provided to my son after his sports injury. From the moment we arrived, I was understandably anxious, but the team quickly put me at ease with their professionalism and compassion.

The nurse (Holly) was incredibly attentive, taking the time to explain every step of the process in a way that I could easily understand. They answered all my questions with patience and made sure my son felt comfortable throughout his treatment. Their kindness and reassurance made a significant difference during a stressful time.

The X-ray staff (Russell) were equally impressive, guiding us smoothly through the imaging process. They made sure my son was calm and informed, which truly helped alleviate my worries.

Overall, the combination of expert care and genuine empathy from the entire team transformed a daunting experience into a manageable one. I am immensely grateful for their support and would highly recommend Baptist health emergency care west Kendall to anyone in need of quality medical care. Thank you for everything!

I want to extend my deepest gratitude to the incredible emergency room team working the night shift on Thursday, March 6th. Their professionalism, efficiency, and compassion truly stood out. From the front desk and triage staff to my nurse, the ER doctor, the X-ray and ultrasound techs, and even the person cleaning, everyone played a vital role in making my experience as smooth and comfortable as possible.

Every diagnostic test was done in a timely manner, and I never felt like just another patient—they genuinely cared. A special thank you for the warm blankets, which made a huge difference in my comfort during my stay.

I hope their supervisors recognize the dedication and teamwork displayed that night. This team deserves to be acknowledged for their outstanding patient care and commitment to excellence. Thank you all for everything you do.

Even though I was sick and in pain, the experience I had with the overall team was phenomenal. They took care of me. They made sure I wasn’t in pain. They reassured me that I will be OK but the person that was the most outstanding was my RN Leticia she was outstanding. She was one of the most polite, generous, caring person I ever met.

The tech was unable to find my vein to draw blood from twice. I explained to him that my veins were hard to find. He tried once and failed. Once the needle was jn my arm, he started fishing looking for the vein. He took it out and ibasked him not to do insert the needle.in my arm until he found the vein. He said he already found it but again when he inserted the needle, began the fishing expedition. I asked him as calm as I could to remove it and he started arguing with me and said: you cam here asking us for help. And you said it yourself that your veins are hard to find. I had to repeat myself 3 tomes so he would finally remove the needle. All this happened while the needle was still in my arm. He then removed it and itfet to me he was going ro walk away, that is until there was blood coming out of my arm, then he swiped my arm with alcohol. He didnt even put a cotton ball or bandaid. I had to ask for one to another attendant. Anywhere you go to get blood dawn, after they remove the needle, they put a cotton ball and tape it with a bandaid. Then another older nurse came and was not reassuring. He asked me in a mean tone and demeanor, what happened. I explained myself but he wouldn't really let me speak. He said "will you let me try or not? There is no guarantee we will miss the vein again". The only positive experience I had was with the attending female doctor, the person at front desk and the person who took me to get my xray done. Also, once the doctor came back and told me I have the right to refuse treatment, the older male nurse told the lady who checked me in who was back there, in spanish: "give her that so she leaves". Very negative interaction with the 2 male "care team". I was there on February 18 at around 11 pm.

I went to Baptist West Kendall because I was had choked while eating. I was able to get the obstruction a little past my epiglottis but was still having difficulty breathing and a lot of discomfort. After checking my blood pressure and heart rate, I was sent to a a ER room. I sat in the room for over an hour until a PA finally came to check on me. Lucky for me, by that time the obstruction passed. I informed the PA that I believed the obstruction cleared and he advised if there were any other problems to return. He did not perform any type of medical treatment and I was discharged shortly afterward. Of course I still had to pay $200 for the visit, and I am sure my insurance company was charged even more. I definitely would not recommend going here even if it is an emergency.
