Great experience with Dr. Ragusa and the staff. Booking my new patient appointment was easy. When I arrived, I didn’t have a long wait time. I was met with smiling, friendly faces. All of my concerns were addressed and I was given a care plan to get back on track to being healthy again. I’d recommend this clinic and their doctors to everyone.

I recently moved to Louisiana from Alabama because of a new position. Everyone knows how stressful it is to find a new doctor, get all of your maintenance prescriptions filled, and find a place that makes you feel welcomed.

I took a chance with this facility because it was in network, and the first to pop up. I am absolutely GRATEFUL/HAPPY to be a patient at this facility.

My first appointment was perfect! Everyone at this facility is friendly/kind/caring and welcoming. I look forward to my visits because of how much fun I have seeing everyone.

My Doctor (who wears an amazing bow tie!) sat down with me and listened to all of my concerns, and helped me through everything I presented. Doctor Wood truly cares for his patients. I have never had a doctor that cares this much.

I saw two general practitioners here who are nice and good at what they do. However, whether it's speaking on the phone with, or speaking face-to-face with a receptionist in this office, it is NEVER a good experience. After 2 years of trying to be patient with these people, I've decided they're not worth my time anymore.
They always have a bad attitude and are condescending. They speak to you as if you're annoying them and they have something better to do than check you in for your appointment, check your insurance, etc. I just walked out of there for the last time today and I can boldly say I will not be going back solely because of the attitude of the receptionist I spoke with.
A doctors' office is where you go to get help, not to be spoken to like you're an inconvenience.

I really love my nurse practitioner. She is excellent. The rest of the staff, namely the nurse responsible for making her appointments, we’re incredibly inadequate. The receptionist was not very helpful, she seemed a bit lost. The nurse making appointments was so incredibly rude. She continued to repeat the same statement over and over and was unsympathetic and useless regarding my request. Had she taken time to listen instead of repeating “the other nurse practitioner can see the same thing yours can”, I might not be writing this review. The kicker though was being hung up on without so much as a polite goodbye. I should mention that I am a BRG employee. This was a sad experience for our organization.

My 81 year old mother was discharged home with three broken ribs and no home health. When I called to beg for an order for home health, the nurse on the phone told me my parents should’ve asked when they were seen for the broken ribs a week ago. They do not know to ask for that and that is what healthcare providers are for. Now I’m stuck waiting for the order and even if I get it, it will take forever to get setup. Welcome to American healthcare. Work your whole lives to end up being evicted from your own home because you can’t get home health.

The doctors are okay but the rest of the staff has terrible customer service skills. They don't call you back when leaving a message for the nurse / doctor. Extremely slow at sending prescriptions electronically and even slower at printing paper prescriptions. The nurse says they are sending in
a prescription when you talk to them in the morning but they don't actually send the prescription until late in the afternoon. This is unacceptable when you have a sick child. They have miss scheduled apointments multiple times. Avoid this office if you can.

They told me I needed to pay out of pocket nearly $200 for what should've been covered by insurance. They refused to contact the insurance company and said I could only be seen if I paid directly and before the appointment. Wasted all the time that was scheduled for my appointment and then said the doctor would not be able to see me because I paid out of pocket. I'm unable to even speak to the doctor about these issues or get a refund or reschedule the appointment. Get your business together, this is ridiculous.
