I don't normally come to the South Bay for treatments but was in the neighborhood for a business meeting and decided to give Dr. Medina a try. He was very effective and very efficient and the issues in my upper and mid back were resolved with the first visit! I also had a nice talk about his functional medicine practice and am planning on trying to get my parents to visit from SF for Alzheimer's analysis and preventative treatments/consultations. Who knew that there are already treatments available for Alzheimer's!

Amazing experience! I have an incredibly busy schedule and Dr. Medina was able to do everything remote! Had a phone consult to discuss my issues, then he checked my insurance, found a lab in my area and sent me all the paperwork I needed to bring. It couldn't have been easier.

Once the results came in I was even more impressed! He sent me the lab's results, his own custom results based on what the optimal levels are which tells the real story of what is going on, and he even sent me a recording of himself explaining my results. This was super helpful because I was able to listen to it multiple times before we had another facetime to discuss it. He answer all my questions and used his knowledge and science to back it up.

He then created a custom supplement and lifestyle adjustment plan for me to follow for the next 90 days before re-testing. The program made sense and was easier than I expected. Looking forward to the next 90 days and then re-testing my labs with Dr. Medina.

I would HIGHLY recommend for anyone who is looking for functional medicine or help with why they aren't feeling well.

I’ve struggled with hormone issues for years. Finally, I went to Dr. Medina and I’m so happy I did. I got a month long female hormone panel done and based on those results Dr. Medina was able to confidently tell me the root cause for why I was still having adult acne issues and unbearable mensural cramps. After only 3 month on the supplement protocol he recommended, my acne was gone, yes gone! I can’t tell you how much of a confidence booster that is unless you’ve lived with acne since your teens. As for my cramps, I’ve been able to get off the prescription pain killer I was on in order to keep the pain in check and at a level where I wasn’t having to throw up. Now I have only a few hours of mild cramps and the rest of my period is pretty easy going. Game changer for me.

Dr. Medina practices functional medicine and chiropractic. He's my trusted 2nd opinion on all things wellness when medical doctors come up short (as they sometimes/often do.)

I had messed up my rotator cuff pretty bad, and Kaiser physical therapy was a joke. In two sessions, he helped get my range of motion back to usable before I got new insurance and could resume regular physical therapy treatments.

He's also very informed about optimal brain health and the influence our diet has on our brain functioning and hormones. Some of his patients see him because they have traditionally difficult-to-diagnose mental conditions, but I see him because he can help me get the most out of my brain. (I work in machine learning and artificial intelligence.)
