1 star for the 1 brain cell any of the people who work here share collectively . Scratch that, half a brain cell . They don’t care about clients. They buddy up and team up with each other against the clients . Clients are not listened to. I’m not talking about the recovery center but any experience I ever really had being involved with this scum company. Do better .

Disgusting behavior by staff members (mainly the head coordinator of many of the house near Somerville, MA..) I heard some remarks that were unacceptable as well as unprofessional…about clients, as well as staff members. It was mainly one women that these horrible comments were coming from…but other folks told me there were more as well. She had stigmatized people based on their appearance, as well as accused her employees of the most ridiculous, unrealistic, absurd accusations I have ever heard. For example…a window had been left maybe half an inch open by one of the employees…simple mistake, it happens, right? Nope, it’s the end of the world. Someone was ā€œstaging a break-inā€ and she was calling around to assign blame to the ones who she thought, and I quote..ā€looked like they stealā€. Her own words to another employee at the time. Like I said…stigmatizing human beings based on their appearance, gender, sexual orientation, race, etc is gross behavior in my opinion. That’s not all…I felt unsafe at one point in one of the houses and contacted her in an emergency situation..only for her to get angry because it was late. When before she had told me to reach out at anytime during the hiring process. One of the meanest, coldest bosses I have ever had…ever. Unsafe work environment/ living space. If you are seeking help and/ or community living I highly suggest NOT going to BayCove or the New Day program. They don’t care about their employees or their clients. There’s plenty of other houses in the area and I would suggest going their because there is help out there and people that actual care and do their jobs well…this is not one of those places. That lady needs some serious help. I feel bad for her…well, almost. (Btw I believe her name is Rayan I think) If you are reading this I hope you find a quality living situation and things get better for you soon! Keep going and your time will come…God bless

Bay Cove's Day Habilitation program, located at 19 Bradston Street, is very disturbing and not at all what the director advertises it to be. Individuals are left in their one assigned little "classroom" (many of them windowless) *all day*, only moved for occasional hygienic needs. Though they claim to provide activities, individuals are often left entirely unengaged in front of some basic art supplies, or "relaxing" or "listening to music" while staff look at their cell phones.

The director, Kristen Falvey, remains upstairs in her office, and only engages with staff (and almost never with individuals) when she fears getting in trouble when her lack of leadership is noticed. Files and records are forged to indicate active programming and engagement that does not represent the services actually provided.

This is a place where staff are untrained and unsupported, leadership is only involved when punitive measures are implemented to protect its reputation, and where individuals are left to rot, for the financial benefit of the company.
