My husband Steve recently had the need for the VNA after a 8 day hospital stay. We found the staff at the Plymouth office very professional as well accommodating. (24 hr delivery on needed supplies). His visiting nurse, Valerie, was a pleasure to have in our home. Friendly, Caring and Supportive. We would absolutely recommend this group to anyone in need. Thanks, Kate & Steve

Would not reccomend. No consistancy and would rather put the elderly into a facility than help to keep them home. Do not use them constant no shows.Travis from pt was great.the only good thing I have to say.

Overall - very happy with Bayada nursing (most often Valerie) as well as physical therapy support (primarily Mike). My mom has been in and out of the hospital since open heart surgery with some ongoing hiccups so she's struggled a bit and really needed home health care. She had a handful of nurses over the course of about 5 months and most were very caring, kind, consistent, timely, and provided educational support. Mike was great - he also was kind, caring, and supportive. He built a rapport with my mom and it got to the point that she really enjoyed and looked forward to his visits (not necessarily the actual PT). She was happy to "graduate" but does miss the visits. We appreciate the support we received from Bayada.

The care I received from Bayada was outstanding. I was amazed how quickly they scheduled my home visits and were always on time. I could call with any concerns or questions and they were there to help. I cannot thank the Bayada group enough for the professional care, and service I received. Horrible company to work with. I told the therapist what 2 days of the week worked best for my dad. After 2 months of no shows I called customer service and the woman I spoke to (Linda Macdonald) questioned me as to where my father was the other 5. She explained that he should not be getting in home care even though he was already approved for it (which took a very long time to get approved for). She knows that he has no phone, or car, or ability to do most things on his own. When I asked for her name she reluctantly gave it and hung up abruptly. The entire interaction was condescending and unprofessional. When I called back to speak to a director, she withheld any information possible and laughed before hanging up again.

Be very careful about Bayada because the aids and home care givers have no special training and are not screened very well. The primary woman, Kim helping my mother had serious emotional issues of her own and should not have been given the responsibility as she was unequipped to handle it.

Very disappointed with Bayada. They are not reliable at all. It took months of no shows to get someone to come in to help take care of my father with dementia so his regular care taker could go food shopping. They finally found someone but she left them (big surprise) during the time she was coming they tried to pull her from us several times. Now that she’s gone they ignore phone calls, very blatantly uncaring and it’s been over a month since they’ve sent someone. Then they call to send someone on Christmas Day when things are closed. Like they don’t need to eat. Thankfully I’m able to pick up food for them between my work shifts otherwise they’d starve with no way to go shopping. Guess our elderly don’t matter! Terrible place RUN use another company!

Per below comment from Bayada they asked me to email them about this review and the email given is not good. Tried to respond and it bounces back as not a valid email. Talk about fake concern about my review. They only wanted others seeing the review to think they responded. Obviously not interested in facilitating any real change in there terrible business practices.
