Beautiful hospital. Plenty of parking. The hospital doesn’t look too confusing to navigate from the outside compared to other hospitals. The inside is just as beautiful as the outside. One can describe it as a spacious modern airport but in a hospital form. The nurses are kind, knowledgeable, and there’s a sense of teamwork among everyone I’ve met that works there.

I had my last baby on Monday 06/16/25. Went in for a scheduled repeat C-section. The nurses in L&D were super friendly and helpful, the anesthesiologists, and Drs made me feel at ease and reassured me anytime I had doubts. When I got to Mother and Baby Unit, all the nurses were immediately helpful and welcoming. My nurses SARAH, both Gaby’s (day & night shift), and Catherine made me feel seen and heard. Sarah was always helpful and made me feel comfortable and like I knew her personally. She was always making sure I had everything I needed and went above and beyond. All PCTs, and lactation consultant (Shana) were friendly and supportive. I have had all 4 of my kids here and every time, I leave with a better experience. Baylor hospital is lucky to have all the staff , they really keep the place running. Thank you to all my nurses for making me feel not so alone in my most vulnerable moments. I would 100% recommend this hospital to anyone I know.

2024 was a year for me. I was in and out of the hospital for a number of things. I handled all my imaging, labs, doctors appointments, and surgeries here. I stayed from 3 to 5 days at most during each occassion, and the experience with the nurses and doctors was great. The staff were attentive and cared in regards to recovery and finding the appropriate treatment for me. I've seen the old rooms, and I got to experience the upgrades. Overall, it was a great experience, despite it being in a hospital...it made me feel somewhat at ease although I couldn't be home.

I wish I didn’t have a favorite hospital, but I do, and it’s Baylor in Irving. Labor and Delivery is full of rockstars and I wish I could repay them for how well they treated me. Barbara and Rochelle specifically were so kind and informative. The ER here has taken good care of me multiple times as well. It’s 20 minutes out of my way to go here, but it’s worth my time since they actually listen to me and it’s a comfortable visit every time. I’ve been to 2 other hospitals in the area and Baylor puts them to shame. If you’re having a baby I highly recommend!

My Mom is Diagnosed with obviously a Medical Condition. She went to the ER and got in there very quickly , they were incredible and were ALWAYS there if needed. Moved up to Tower 3. The Staff in the daytime were good but the Staff at night are NOT so quick when it’s needed. We requested medication and they took a hour to bring it. When the patient was in pain and kept requesting the medication needed. They took a while to bring it, they should definitely be on the go for when a patient presses the care team button. Overall, everything was good until she got moved up.

On April 16th 2025, this past Wed. I brought my 92 year young mother to the ER. She was experiencing vertigo (dizziness) for several weeks on and off. We were very fortunate as we got in very quickly. Nobody was waiting in the lobby at that time. Every staff member we encountered were very professional and helpful. Will, the RN nurse and Dr. Bell were especially great! Thankfully, after numerous testing the staff weren't able to find anything causing it? Gave her a med. and recommended she see an Ear, Nose & Throat specialist. The experience there at the ER for my mother and myself in Irving was very informative and helpful. Thank you very much to the staff, Dr. Bell, and Will!

I had to go to the ER with Atrial Fibrillation, and they took extremely good care of me very quickly. All the ER Docs monitored me until my own Cardiologist came in to see me. They decided to monitor me overnight, and all the staff were friendly and responsive to all my needs. I will be coming back here for another Coronary Ablation next month, and I know they will keep up the good work like they did in my first Ablation 4-5 years ago. This is the Hospital near where I grew up, and my PCP is right next door, so I have a comfortable connection here.

This review is for my mother, Brenda, written by her son, Anthony.
My brother and I would like to thank Baylor Scott and White of Irving, TX, so much for saving my mother's life. Yes, they did!!! I have no complaint. My 77-year-old mother, who is very active and gets around good, had been mentioning shortness of breath and chest pain. On June 23rd 2025, symptoms did not go away. We went to Baylor Emergency Room in Irving TX, as I said on June 23rd 2025. After some test, they saw that my mom needed a blood transfusion. Thank you, Dr. White in ER, for knowing, knowing it was not the iron infusion she needed, but it was a blood transfusion. Here is when things got bad, but the doctors, nurses, and techs swung into action! My mother needed to go to the bathroom. Thirty seconds later, the young male nurse and my mom come speeding back to her room. My mother had a hard time breathing. Shortness of breath and chest pains. Coughing, stroking, chest pains, and shortness of breath all at the same time. They rushed into critical care mode. Thank you, Dr White, for saving my mom's. You and God, God First!!! You took care of my mother in that ER and your staff of nurses and Techs. You had to give my mother oxygen instead of a blood transfusion at that time, and fast. After that conversation, he had more X-rays taken at the same time all of this was going on. What the X-rays showed was fluid in my mom’s lungs. It was starting to work, The young man who was in charge of supplying my mom oxygen and monitoring her and the equipment did a great job. And a special thanks to the other hospital Doctor that night for talking to me. Baylor kept me informed about my mother’s care and her health. The doctor was finally able to start the blood transfusion and get my mom admitted to PCU. I was going to take some days off from work to be with her. My mother's nurse told me, “You can if you want to stay with her, but she is in good hands!” and she would be right!!!
want to thank the Ultrasound technician for keeping us in good spirits while looking at my mom’s heart. He made my mother and me feel at ease. I want to thank the young male nurse who took my phone call on June 25th at around lunchtime to tell my mother hello for me and that I would be there to see her after I get off work. I appreciate Baylor’s Hospital doctor for calling me at work on June 26th, but they had to leave a voicemail message. Nurse Freshia explained to me and my mom what the doctor needed to talk to me about, and the next day we talked. The doctor went into detail on what they could see from the Ultrasound and what they wanted to do on Monday, but if it was alright with me. I started doing research once I got off work, internet made me so worried. Thank you, Nurse Victoria! That internet had me in a bad place; you made it all better. Nurse Victoria, also let me know what time to be at the hospital, to meet with the doctors; They would explain the procedures that were going to be done on Monday morning. Monday morning, and the Doctors came. confirmed what three doctors told me over the weekend. The technicians came to take her for her TEE test. Great job! 11:00 am, PA Jamie and Jessica came in to talk with my mom. They were great! Preparing for the Stress test. I would like to thank the two technicians nurse, and especially PA Nina, who made me feel better. I explained my concern, she told me what the treatment would be if they did find something. I felt so much better. The doctor came in the next morning TEE did not find any further damage. Great news, she could be discharged that day. Stress Test doctor came, heart under stress, it pumped like it was supposed to. great Mom is coming home. Thank the young Chaplain. Saff was available to answer our questions. A musician came into my mother’s room with a piano. He is very talented and his name is Gernard Hill, Music Practitioner. He is an Art of Medicine. Thank you Nurse day, June 2nd, gave her scrubs to wear home, and Patrica, the Technician that day, Baylor never stopped going above and beyond!!

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Brinkman! She is by far the most personable and kind hearted doctor I’ve ever had. From the moment I met her, I felt truly cared for. Not just as a patient, but as a person. She takes the time to listen, makes you feel heard, and always explains things in a way that’s easy to understand. It’s rare to find a doctor who combines professionalism with such genuine compassion, and I’m so thankful I found her. She has helped me so much, and I finally feel like I’m in good hands. Highly, highly recommend!
