2 stars because I had a good experience when I visited prior. The medical staff was patient and quick to diagnose. However I tried to bring my toddler here today and called ahead (1/20/25). I was then told they don't see children under 4? What is that about? Also my sister brought her kid who is the same age a few months ago and it wasn't an issue. It doesn't say anything about it on their website. Also doesn't say you need an appointment which according to other reviewers you do. My suggestion is to update your web page with clear information regarding your policies, especially about pediatric care.

I was most appreciative of the compassionate and professional care that I received at this urgent care site. The facility was clean and staffed well. The nurse practitioner was very experienced and gained my confidence quickly despite my being a retired nurse. Her diagnosis was spot on and the treatment was state of the art. So many times elders are over treated. This leads to a host of other problems. Highly recommend.

Went to urgent care today for upper respiratory issues. They were extremely quick, helpful and never rushed me through. Met first with efficient and helpful Nurse who listened to all my symptoms . Then met with provider Reymond who was friendly, listened to my concerns and fully addressed issues. After X-ray,and blood tests, I was on my way with medication to address my sinus infection. Highly recommend this urgent care. From reception all the way through with each staff member, all were very professional.

I’ve needed to come here a few times, sprained ankle and other small things-everyone from receptionist to Dr were professional and efficient. UNTIL just recently-I had developed an abscess exactly over the scar from a serious surgery. None of which made any sense to me, and it simply would not heal. Several weeks later I went here, in pain and very concerned that there was more going on than an abscess. I waited two hours to see a PA who hardly even examined it-and told me that it looked “fine” and asked ME if I wanted antibiotics. I’m not upset about the wait, it is what it is, but I went prepared with surgical notes to make the case that it involved my prior surgery-it was waved off. I had been pushed away by sport med Dr, and PCP and this was my last resort. After that round of antibiotics the problem persisted and so back I went at 5:30 mid-week- I was turned away despite their 6:30 closing time because they were at capacity. I went to Amherst next to a different medical walk-in on university drive, and despite the place looking like a basement-third world country war zone set up, she confirmed that a SUTURE had worked its way out of the opening of that abscess. UNBELIEVABLE. If this is the future of our health care system, we’re all screwed. So glad I pay top dollar insurance premiums every month.

I had a visit here back in November and my partner yesterday. We both saw Dr. A Nicora and just wanted to share how amazing she is. From her patience, letting you speak and listening to you, to her wonderful bedside manner. I believe that because of these components, it lead to my very prolonged coughing in November, messaging with my PCP after weeks and weeks and not resolving to being resolved within a few days, simply because Dr. Nicora listened and put together the pieces suggesting my BP meds having a cough as a side effect. Thank you for standing out as such a compassionate doctor; we wish we could see you as our PCP.

Had several questions since I’ve been unable to book any new patient appointments until 6 months away! Receptionist was nice and helpful but the physicians assistant and a Dr. Cooper were very curt about informing me that they could only discuss one issue with me and did not want to hear about any other of my concerns. I was shocked! Have never been treated like that by a doctor in my life! Will never return to that facility ever.

If I could give zero stars I would. Take your money and precious human self elsewhere. There is a review here that states baystate can refer you for an ultrasound. I called to confirm this a few days ago. I was told yes, to come in. So yesterday, after charging my card 170 bucks, the Dr. told me they have never done that and can’t help me, while the front receptionist said that they have. I felt gaslit and lied to.

Dr. sue was extremely avoidant on being able to explain anything to me. She aggressively questioned “why would you do that?” When I told her I was on testosterone for a year and it made me feel unsafe as a queer person.

She told me I had a uti. When I asked how that showed up, there was no concrete answer. The thing is, I literally went to a different clinic very recently and tested negative for a uti. I have no uti symptoms. Today I just bought a uti home test and they were negative. To think I could’ve been taking antibiotics for no reason.

When I was discussing my concerns with management, they were extremely condescending to me.

I want to add to this that the medication they prescribed me is contraindicated for my allergy to penicillin. The pharmacist said he had been calling, it was over a day later that I can apparently now access a medication that may or may not cause an allergic reaction.

I honestly wouldn’t recommend this urgent care. My experience was one of feeling dehumanized and robbed.
