Torn shoulder and came in early. They asked what my job was so I told them I work at a brewery then they accused me of being drunk. It's 10am it's my job and I think it's odd to make these comments just because of a common place to work. I can't move my right arm shoulder and this is what you do? I needed to know what happened to my body so I could explain to my work with a note. You cost me my job, as I am injured and needed professional experts to diagnose and help me.this place is just a joke that hands out pain medication to the homeless people. I guess I'll just google and treat myself? I'm not kidding, it's 1000% more effective then sitting 6 hours in a hospital where they just think your here for drugs cause that's what all of Greenfield is. Thanks for grouping in a father, a husband and a hard worker with the rest of the lot. This sucks, I have never felt so unbelievably alone and screwed. So I'll just lay flat on my back for a month and lose my job and my home.

The staff in the ER were great aside from the doctor that was on the night that I went. I had positive interactions with practically everyone, even the security guard. I went there due to the urgent cares being closed and wanting to make sure the mild allergic reaction I was having wasn't anything major. I have been dealing with health issues for over three years now and working with specialists to figure out what is going on. I tend to get a lot of symptoms here and there but this time around it had me a little worried. I had severe dizziness to the point where I couldn't drive or stand for a long period of time along with tingling in my face, lips, and tongue. The only thing that went down was swelling in my lip. I had waited for three hours which was not bad on a busy night, I believe it was also because I was considered priority. The nurses continued to check in on me and made sure I was doing okay as we waited. Once I got in, the doctor talked to me for not even 10 minutes. All of the concerns I brought up were being dismissed or met with a quick "I would be worried if it was x,y,z but it's very normal". He decided to prescribe me a steroid even though he didn't believe I was having an allergic reaction. Even on my discharge papers, there was no mention of my dizziness or other symptoms just "abnormal sensations". He even sent my prescription to the wrong pharmacy after repeating the address back to me. I left feeling very discouraged, I am aware that there are things more urgent but it felt like he was just trying to zoom through to each patient. I did not end up seeing my PCP until a week after and my symptoms did not go down until four to five days after the ER visit. Going forward, I may request to have a different doctor if that one is on staff again, I hope he learns to take his time.

Came in with leg pain, was seen immediately. Dr ordered tests and I had a diagnosis within 4 hours. Blood clot so thank goodness I came in and was seen quickly. Everyone was so great! Thank you!

Generally I like this hospital. The few times I have been to the ER have been alright. I was hit by a car while riding a bicycle a couple years ago and I feel like they could have handled my injuries a little better. It felt like I was rushed back on to my feet. Aside from that poor experience I will still return to this hospital whenever I need to. It's also unfortunate that the staff needs to keep going on strike. They really do care about the people who are injured or sick. They really do need more staff. But don't let this discourage you from going to this hospital. The staff absolutely will do there very best.

they illegally wouldn’t let service dogs in. that is illegal on so many levels. and not ‘sterile’ i mean barring them from entrance.

so if u have a service dog, AVOID if u can. apparently you have to look disabled for them to be fine with you

The staff is wonderful! I had an ultrasound the other day. Amanda who performed the test was amazing.
She was caring and made my experience great!

My son had to have extensive hospital dentistry here. Dr Veeranna, Dr Aftab and the nurses Don, Grace, Megan, Cindy and Katie were all wonderful from the moment we arrived until we left.

Dr. Matt Shapiro had given me multiple false diagnosis. Just the other day he said after a ct scan nothing in my face is broken. The next day I went for a second opinion. I’m going to need 5 teeth removed and have other broken fragments in my face. Between myself and my girlfriend we have seen him Atleast a dozen times and he has never given us a correct diagnosis. Drive the few miles to Northampton or refuse this doctor. He is not worth the additional visits he will cause you.
