I was told I was had a twin pregnancy for about 12 hours until another Dr from the Springfield office called and told me that was a clerical error. I had spoken with the head obgyn dr about the twin pregnancy on the phone the day before. There were comments on my lab report about twin fetuses and such….I was in disbelief but he assured me it was true (from no evidence, we had done one ultrasound which showed one baby) They may be understaffed but I just do not trust this office.

I’m a new patient here. I have to get blood work done 2 times, 48 hours apart. The person I spoke with on the phone told me to come to Baystate Franklin any day which I did today (a Saturday) and that their Lab is open 24 hours. I’m coming in on a Saturday because it’s the most convenient time for me to come, although I left work an hour early so the 48 hours can be as close as possible and my test results can be accurate. I get to the Lab and they tell me that they never received an order for any blood work to be done. Baystate Health and Wellness offices are closed on the weekend so I am unable to call to sort this out. The woman I spoke with never sent over any orders, and I had asked her if I had to do anything she said No, all I had to do was go to the lab whenever I wanted and that they’d already have an order waiting for me. So now I can’t even call until Monday, which was supposed to be the 2nd part of getting blood work done. I’m not very pleased with this as it has wasted valuable time in my day and now I have to rearrange my whole week. I work 45 hours and have a difficult schedule to work around. Although the woman I spoke with seemed very nice, this situation is definitely unbelievable

Unfortunately, it was clear to me that the midwives and OBs at Pioneer Women's are far more interested in protecting their own liability than in doing what's best for their patients. I was repeatedly threatened and coerced by my providers through the end of my pregnancy, including while in active, unmedicated labor. The care my infant and I received was not compassionate, optimal, evidence-based, or trauma-informed. This practice may have a great reputation for low risk obstetric care in the Valley, but it's no longer living up to that reputation. I deeply regret using them for my care and hope that they will do better for their patients in the future.

I had a heart attack on 6/26/2023. One of the changes in my body was feeling very sexual all the time. To the point of distraction. It was not normal. I called PWH. I tried to explain my symptoms to the receptionist and wanted a nurse to call me back. The nurse called me back and spoke with me in a stern voice. I explained my problem. It was not well received or taken seriously. I felt disbelieved and shamed by both staff. She offered an appt for 9/2. I probably called them in early July, so that was 2 months to wait. As every American knows men are acknowledged and encouraged to go to the doctor after 4 hours of an erection. I understand its not the same but it is just as real. I canceled the appt. Time has passed and more symptoms are occurring. No matter how much I try to squelch this, it is not going away. I felt important to this practice when I had my 3 daughters. I am not a consistent patient because primary care will do exams. I feel this is different. I want a gynecologist. I am going to find one that can acknowledge and appreciate that how a symptom occurs is not open for judgement.

Received wonderful care throughout my pregnancy and birth experience. Even though I drive an hour to get there, I continue to use them for my OBGYN / midwife needs because they have such compassion and heart. Hardly ever waited more than a few minutes for an appointment. Always felt listened to, never rushed. Wish more places were like this!!

I had some minor surgery yesterday with Dr. Polansky . The doctor and her staff were kind, pleasant to be with and most professional. I have seen this doctor twice previously and I was satisfied with all aspects of my visits. I was seen in a timely manner, the office , bathroom and other areas were clean. The place has a good atmosphere. The doctor is an excellent listener and explains procedures etc. with clarity and with a heart. I will continue to use Pioneer Women's Health for any ob-gyn services that I need.

They ignored my call when I said something was wrong with my pregnancy. Miscarried two days later. Now having a uterine prolapse and couldn't get in for two weeks. Only good thing is Dr.Lepore but I no longer trust this place

I have used them since I landed in Western Mass. Liza used to be the most famous midwife ever and I was lucky enough to have her when my dtr was born. But - Liza is volunteering overseas now. I continue to go there b/c I have never seen such compassionate care from an entire staff before. From the check-in to check-out the staff is excellent.
