The Beachwalker Inn is a good 2+ or 3 star hotel and was the best choice for a quick, last minute weekend trip away. The value for what we paid was very good. We had a senior dog with us, and the fee was reasonable especially since a dog weight limit wasn't a big deal. The hotel is close to the park and beach access and it was easy to walk around town from the hotel. ||The hotel is undergoing improvements- not that you'd notice, but it appears to have received a fresh coat of paint, and our room (105) has an updated bathroom and bedroom, a comfortable couch and a working gas fireplace. Some repairs to the floor and a bathroom wall are needed, and there kitchenette could use an upgrade too, but for what we paid it wasn't a problem for us. The bed was comfortable. Walls and floors seem thin- prepare for that - but there weren't may people staying that weekend ; it wasn't too bad. Overall the hotel's condition was good.||There are fancier and nicer places to stay (with higher prices) but the Beachwalker reasonably met our needs for this trip.

Clean room, comfortable bed, and walkable to the beach, grocery, pier, and restaurants. Our dog was ok to stay there for a small pet fee . Our room had a kitchen with a refrigerator, sink, microwave, and small cooktop. Dishes and cooking pans/utensils were provided. Keurig coffee. We also had a gas fireplace and a loveseat & desk in the main sitting area. Dove shampoo/conditioner/bodywash/lotion dispensers. Two tv's and extra pillows, blankets in the chest. Far from fancy, but had everything needed and was more than worth the off-season rate we paid. Friendly clerk and housekeeper.

Positive: Quiet , and clean rooms. Looks newly renovated . Negative: Hotel was perfect but we had some teenagers in a room next door which didn?t allow us to sleep much.

Came out for a couples winter getaway (between Christmas/New Year's holiday). Photos of the Inn posted on various website pages are deceiving. The place is dingy. Assigned room on first floor with outdated/uncomfortable furniture. One bedside table lamp for the entire room, which was dusty and its fixture rusted. Showers sliding doors were off track. You can hear the people staying up above dragging their luggage all around their room, snoring, kid running back and forth.

It has a kitchen which is convenient and black out curtains which we liked. Um, the outside of the microwave and fridge were dirty. I couldn't sleep a wink you could hear every step the people upstairs took and it sounded like they were in the room kinda creepy, a little outdated, but i guess worked for a last weekend herah before school starts, but wouldn't come back to this hotel. Sorry.

The room needed serious deep cleaning! Couch sag'd as soon as u sit down. Bed was saggy too, I slipped off of it and the nightstands are right there to bump into. Big bruising ensued. No sitting area. Manager said they were to busy to deep clean; what a bad excuse. Way overpriced for the dirty room and horrible parking area.

Very nice room and furnishings. We arrived a little late in the day and the gentleman who checked us in was very nice! Very quiet, and near several restaurants and attractions. If I could change anything, it would be larger coffee cups in the rooms. They're a little small for a strong brew coffee, or I'll remember to bring a larger cup on my next visit!
