I am not one to write reviews frequently, however, I know all too well how challenging and helpless one can feel when trying to deal with mental health concern with a loved one. I was referred to Katie Byrne by my son's pediatrician. She has been a true blessing to our family as a whole. We still continue to work with her and strive towards better overall mental health not only for my son but for our entire family which has been quite a challenge, particularly during these past few years. Katie has always been incredibly responsive during times where I as a parent felt panicked and unsure of how to proceed. Despite an incredibly busy schedule she has made her time available during some very intense issues. Katie has an extremely strong knowledge of medications yet at the same time proceeds in a structured and cautious manner truly ensuring that help is being provided. She is very supportive of the entire family as a whole and has helped us out with other issues via personal recommendations and advice. I am truly grateful for Beacon Behavioral Health and all of the services and altruistic members that I have come across in the practice. Highly recommend!

I was in the midst of a family crisis when I began working with Katie. Her caring, compassionate manner, along with her clinical knowledge is exceptional! Katie recognizes the importance of treating the client’s symptoms and not just a diagnosis. Katie believes in teamwork and collaboration. She offers her clinical recommendations , listens to my questions and concerns, then together we make a plan. Katie is the best in her field! I need to send a shout out to Karen and the front office staff, for their professionalism and efficiency.

I'm a 47 year old man who has received help from numerous people over the years. Katie is without question the most compassionate, caring, dedicated, and clinically knowledgeable person I've encountered. She involves you in your treatment whereas many people will talk at you and not with you. I have made so much progress since I started going to Beacon Behavioral Health. Top Notch professionals! Katie has helped me improve my life in many ways. She has guided me through some extremely difficult life challenges. Her genuine care is evident. Her communication style is very comfortable and I could see her able to truly connect with any individual. I’ve been in therapy at Beacon Behavioral Health Care for over 5 years. My first appointment with Katie left me with hope. Katie understood and validated why I was struggling. That validation from a professional therapist who just met me was invaluable as for once, I did not feel alone nor have I since our first appointment. I had a plan which was an effort between Katie and Cheryl Greene which brought out coping skills that they found within me which I didn’t know I had. They have and are there for me during a crisis no matter what. Katie and Cheryl have helped me see the empowerment I have and the confidence I didn’t know I had to use through a family crisis or for my own self. The welcoming “home” feeling their offices possess always puts my mind at ease. The staff, including Karen, have extreme professionalism, extreme empathy and they CARE. I’m constantly writing down their professional feedback because I appreciated their words, analogies as these words become coping skills for me. I’ve had to reach out when I was feeling immense fear regarding my husbands health at odd times of the day and night. They responded to me as soon as they could. Always with me through the scary times. They stand for what they have written about on their website and I am proof of their beliefs and goals for their clients.
