My daughter has gotten excellent care with her psychiatrists even though she has had to have many trials with her meds. She is now stable and last year was blessed with her first baby at the age of 41.
Mom and infant are doing great

S̶o̶m̶e̶ g̶o̶o̶d̶ e̶g̶g̶s̶ i̶n̶ h̶e̶r̶e̶, but wow this place is lacking the resources they imply they have. A lot of the front staff are very rude or downright argumentative, plus some questionable "specialists" and employees.. I̶'m̶ g̶i̶v̶i̶n̶g̶ a̶n̶ e̶x̶t̶r̶a̶ s̶t̶a̶r̶ f̶o̶r̶ t̶h̶e̶ g̶o̶o̶d̶ e̶g̶g̶s̶, b̶u̶t̶ I would absolutely rate this place a "0"
Their "housing program" is a trap and a nightmare.
Everything new I learn about this place is bad.

I quit services at BHR in January2020. 8 months later I am still upset by the lack of support and lies that I was told. If I would join a group I could be seen more than 1 time a month. I waited months for the group to start and she didn't keep her word. The supervisorthe didn't return my calls. They lied when I complained telling the person who took the complaint that the supervisor called me and that they send me 2 letters that they didn't. Pop thWhen I didn't hear anything for 6 weeks I called to see what happened abought my complaint and the lady was surprised when I told herthat none of the things they told her happened. I have for many years had faith in the Mental health system. I know longer believe in it at all. I feel permanently injured from things I am posting and other things the therapist did it failed to do. I don't think they should be allowed to take government funds. I have never seen such a terrible facilities or one with such unethical policies.

I have went through multiple counselors and never have consistency. My last counselor cancelled almost two months in a row before they were willing to find me a new counselor. I also just recently asked if I could be seen because I believe it's URGENT and I was TURNED AWAY. Please do anything you can to avoid BHR and seek real help else where

I use to go to BHR there on Martin Way, I never had a bad experience not once. I did though try to commit myself there at their Acute ward though, there was this rude little Asian lady there who refused me to be committed there even though I was in fact a patient under Marion MC. Keever. So I told her this and she laid into the lady personally. I read all the lies about the place, they work with you as long as you work with them. STOP lying you lame basket cases.

Absolutely unreal. While I don't exactly wish for my real name to be published on a review for a mental health agency, I couldn't help but notice other people are saying what I was gonna say. They're really disorganized, cancel appointments, overwhelmed and everything. The state just funnels everyone into BHR which in turn is too overwhelmed to deal with things they see as complicated, as I gather my case to be. My own challenges made it a bit difficult to show up to appointments at times, but apparently services are closed without my knowledge. The funny thing is, I would've shown up to the last couple of appointments if they didn't reschedule on me, then they cancel because it's been too long since I showed up. Don't believe me? Call them and start the process yourself. You'll see it right away.

boy this place really has overwhelmingly bad reviews of which the core complaints are pretty consistent. i would be extremely hesitant to go here. they need to do something or the state does to correct their problems. just sayin.

Zero stars. Negative if it were an option. Do an intake, have your first appointment, they bail on you next appointment without even a call, then drop you and make you start all over again. The most appointments Ive have with one person there is three, in two years, through a handful of fresh "counselors" that Im required to participate due to my PTSD and TRUST ISSUES. Every time triggers me more, but its just another game I have to play their way that only causes me more grief and them to make a profit. No wonder theres so many screwed up people here. They should be shut down.
