I wish I had read reviews instead of taking the word of an acquaintance at church. I am self pay, made it clear I don’t have insurance. Wanted to discuss options for hormone therapy for weight gain, fatigue and a bit of brain fog. No other major symptoms, very few hot flashes, no sexual issues. She ignored all of my questions, charged pretty much but the minute under “psychological counsel” for any questions I asked or concerns I had. Didn’t order the hormone cream she prescribed, through Thrive Pharmacy, which I think she gets a kick back from, as I’ve noticed lots of advertising for them in her office. So I was weeks behind on starting, then didn’t give me any instruction on how to use it, thank goodness for YouTube, since she was on vacation. She prescribed an oral progesterone in addition to the estriol cream, and my testosterone levels went sky high. I felt so horrible. Hot flashes, emotional, horrible, but her nurse said that’s where Edie likes the level and you’ll need more bloodwork and another appointment. They didn’t order the bloodwork so I self ordered the thyroid tests I knew I needed from Senora Quest, then when I got there she had me get the rest in her office lab, which is a Lab Corp, and it was over $500 more. Nothing can be answered on the phone or through email, always an office visit that is rushed and runs up the $$ if you ask questions.

Edie is the best Gyn provider I have ever had!! Great bedside manner, cares a great deal about being thorough and stays up to date on current women's health issues.
**Anyone that finds the above not true needs to do some self examination (in reference to a one star rating).

According to Edie and her attorney, as the patient, I "don't get to decide what tests are run." Edie Morgan will have you sign a general consent form, and then she will do whatever she wants, run any tests, do any procedures, and charge you for all of it, without informing you about it at all. She is egomanaiacal and does not like an informed clientele.

They never bothered to notify me about the results of my annual exam for SIX WEEKS, despite repeated requests. When I told Sondra I had never received my results, she said, "Oh yes you did!" Sondra attempted to deliver my results -.incorrectly - even though she is not a healthcare provider. They never connected me to the patient portal. Edie asked me three times in 5 minutes which pharmacy I use, because she doesn't listen when I talk. On two occasions, two different appointments, they failed to call my prescription into my pharmacy. I've had to call them multiple times to chase those prescriptions down. I was given multiple diagnoses that I have no symptoms for, and no treatment plan, because they are diagnoses I do not have. Edit is dishonest and procedure-happy. Multiple unnecessary tests were ordered. Bedside manner leaves much to be desired. So much unnecessary stress and gaslighting from the whole staff. I will never set foot in Edie Morgan's office again, as I do not think my life and health are safe there. I sincerely regret that there is not more choice for OBGYN care in Prescott. Edit Morgan is unprofessional, and her practice put me and my health at risk.

ETA; More than 8 months after my appointment with Edie, I received a bill from a laboratory. My deductible was over $500, because Edie ordered more than two dozen labs without my informed consent. She ordered labs for me as a postmenopausal woman that might be appropriate for a pregnant woman. She is procedure happy and clearly does not give the first s*** about her clients. She is well-connected, and Prescott is small, so she can afford to ignore or mistreat people. 👎👎👎👎👎

I think her practice is reprehensible, and I always will.

Edie Morgan is far and away the worst healthcare provider I've ever had. Her staff has repeatedly given me demonstrably false information, and Edie herself doesn't listen and has a brusque, dismissive bedside manner. I'd hate to go through anything life-threatening under her care.

Edie Morgan has always gone the extra mile to help figure out any issues I may have. She treats you with respect and makes you feel very comfortable. From the moment I walked into this office, I was impressed! The decor and office vibe is so welcoming and calm!
Kelly, at the front desk, was super kind and helpful in explaining the 4% up charge if I used my card verse paying with cash or check. She is always so helpful and knowledgeable and I love her!
Ellen, who took me in the back, was so pleasant and such a beautiful soul. I really appreciated the way she calmed my nerves with her awesome sense of humor! Lastly, Brandie was absolutely amazing!!! She was so knowledgeable about my specific situation, answered all my questions, and made sure I didn’t leave without knowing everything about my visit. She is a super friendly person and I’ll definitely be back to see her in the future! I recommend this office and welcome you to see for yourself how awesome and amazing they are!

This office's billing department is in complete shambles. I visited a year ago and got billed twice for two visits. Billed twice for my lab work, billed twice for my co pay. For both visits. It took countless calls with my issurance company and their office to get this sorted out. And every time I call their office, I never get a response and have to leave several voice messages before anyone calls me back. Sometimes they even hang up on you!
Another note on this business is they do diagnostic tests in-house, and they will push them whether you need these tests or not. I was pushed to get a colposcopy for a thickened uterine linning, something I did not need, refused, and then within a few months the ultrasound showed the issue resolved itself. They even pushed birth control pills even after I refused them several times. I 'm pretty sure they get a commission for every prescription they writw. I was also referred to a breast surgeon they are affiliated with and I was discouraged to see anyone else. When I chose to see someone else, the breast surgeon I chose looked at me and said she honestly didn't know why I was referred to a breast specialist in the first place. Highly do not recommend this practice!

I was a patient at this office for about a year and a half, and unfortunately, I cannot recommend them based on my experience. Despite bringing up a variety of ongoing symptoms, including chronic pelvic pain, painful periods, GI issues, and fatigue, I was repeatedly told these symptoms were “normal” and nothing to worry about. I left multiple appointments feeling dismissed and unheard, even though I was in daily pain.

I later discovered, after transferring to a new provider, that an irregular Pap smear had been on file from this office, and I was never informed. I wasn’t made aware of that result until my current gynecologist accessed the records. I am now being evaluated for a risk of cervical cancer and undergoing further testing and procedures that should have been addressed much sooner.

Additionally, I had an IUD placed here, and my pain during the procedure was significantly downplayed. Less than a year later, the IUD was found to be displaced, causing more complications that could have been avoided.
Since switching offices, I’ve finally been taken seriously. I'm now scheduled for surgery to investigate endometriosis, something I had brought up at this clinic but was told wasn’t likely. I’m sharing this review in hopes of helping others advocate for themselves. If you feel like your pain is being ignored, please seek a second opinion, you deserve to be heard.
Update: So after finding a second opinion and getting laparoscopic surgery they found endometriosis
