BEST was so helpful when my mother had an urgent need for 24-hour caregiving after a hospital stay. They were able to find someone to be with her within a few hours on a weekend and continued providing her 1:1 care for the next week with no issues. Our family had the pleasure of working with Mike and the Best Care team over several months in 2023 and 2024. We initially utilized Best's services to supplement the care provided by our main in-home attendant (i.e., cover her days off and vacation).

We unexpectedly found ourselves needing additional care days and hours. Mike and his team were able to immediately accommodate the increased needs. The in-home providers (IHP) were attentive, and caring, and ensured our family member’s comfort and needs were met. The Best team made a point to communicate well with our family and among each other to ensure consistency of care and address changes as they arose.

Navigating the needs of an aging and ailing loved one can be dynamic, unpredictable, and at times, stressful. We were grateful to have Mike and his team’s support to help us through this challenging period.

Highly recommend BEST. They cared for my dad seven days per week for almost three years. After a bad fall compounded with other chronic illnesses, he was in need of almost immediate home care. I interviewed three agencies and was impressed with Mike at BEST. He put me at ease and was very flexible and accommodating in dialing in a schedule over time. My dad was—quirky-- and all of the caregivers were so gracious in working with him. He was well cared for until the end. They accompanied him on doctor visits and shopping, helped with cooking, showering/dressing, kept me in the loop with things I couldn’t see myself like when it was time for him to stop driving... BEST gave me peace of mind living across the country, allowed my brother the space to be present with his young family, and cared for my dad like family.

My 95+ year old Mom was living independently at Piedmont Gardens, a Senior Facility in Oakland, CA. She began to need assistance and Piedmont referred me to Mike at Best Home Care, what a god send that was. Thus began a year and a half relationship during which Mike arranged for my Mom to be cared for, wonderfully handling all the unplanned schedule changes that occur at that time of Life. In the end, my Mom had developed a very close relationship with one of Mike's Caregivers, she made a huge positive impact on my Mom's life and greatly reduced our concerns that she had companionship and was looked after. My Mom is gone now but I will always be thankful to Mike and his Caregivers.

The team kept Mom clean, they fed her, they challenged her memory, played music, and generally kept the wheels on the bus so I could be a daughter. I was impressed Best was quickly able to provide 24 hour care as my mother was transitioning from the hospital to assisted living. The caregivers they provided were competent and reliable.
