My mother broke her hip the day after she turned one hundred and three .They repaired her hip at the hospital, sent her to a rehab center. It was a terrible place! My mother did not have a good experience in rehab. We then found best of heart assisted living. My mother had nothing but praise for the care she received and the people who helped her. I can't say enough positive things about this facility. Rose and Val made my mother feel right at home. Someone in our family visited it or called my mother every day that she was in best of heart. Not one single time did any of us see anything that gave us concern for how she was being treated, how she was being cared for or how she was being fed. I cannot honestly think of one criticism for how my mother was treated while she was there. If you need assisted living care for a loved one, this is the place to go!

My dad had been staying at a large assisted living facility since 2017. Earlier this year, 2024, his health began to decline to where he needed more one-on-one attention than the facility could provide. Best of Heart was recommended by a caregiver and I am very thankful for this. Speaking with Valorine on the phone she was very patient with my questions and willing to move my dad in immediately. Moving him into Best of Heart was such a blessing for him and peace of mind for me. He was more relaxed than he has been for months. He loved Valorine and Rose. He passed away quietly in his sleep this month. The entire situation was handled with grace and dignity by Best of Heart. I would recommend Best of Heart without hesitation.
Also I want to take this opportunity to say Thank You to Valorine and Rose. You are very special people who have huge hearts for the elderly.

Mom (103 yo in June) moved in after a hip fracture and rehab. Valerine and her staff are the best. Very professional, compassionate and attentive to Mom's needs. Contant communication was a game changer for us. Mom loves it there and loves the staff. Highly recommend a visit and a chat with Val. You won't be disappointed. 5 stars...?

I don’t usually do well with unfamiliar places. But since day 1 of my admittance Mrs. Val and Rose have treated me just like family. Their approach was kind, caring and understanding to my personal situation which made me immediately feel comfortable about being here. Being an individual who is use to doing for himself unfortunately due to some of my medical issues a lot of my independence has been jeopardized. So I have had to depend on Mrs. Val and Ms. Rose. One of the things I appreciate the most about the both of them is that although they have had to help me a lot with just about everything I do they haven’t complained once. As a matter of fact each day we talk they always reassure me not to forget to ask for help. Wether they are giving me information on preventing falls or I’m asking for assistance when I’m in pain. They always make me feel I’m right at home. I’m so thankful for my Case Worker Mrs. Kiersten Patrick’s for finding me this assisted living accommodation and I’m even more thankful for Mrs. Val accepting me into her home. I wish I could give them 10 stars because they deserve it.
