I’m so grateful this location was open when I needed support! I had gotten sick on a Sunday and got help over the phone but as things got worse I had been trying to see my PCP in person but they were booked, and after a visit with a kind PA left me without answers, my PCP’s office directed me here. I am so glad because I finally got answers for my issues! Doctor was very thorough and did all the tests I needed (but didn’t have done the day before). Nurse was super kind and helped me connect all the dots and explained my diagnosis super well. Front desk was also kind and I was seen faster than the predicted time. Facility is super nice, new and clean.

Inhumane front desk. Believe the reviews! I’m not sure why she hasn’t been let go. Allowed my daughter to violently vomit (simultaneous diarrhea) in the waiting room bathroom for over 2.5 hours. She couldn’t leave the bathroom and none of the other people in the waiting room could use it. Did not even offer a bucket or trash bag until I asked after an hour. When I asked if she could just go to the back bathroom, to spare everyone in the waiting room from hearing her, and expressed that she was saying she felt like she was going to pass out, I was told it was going to be a long wait and all she could do was call 911. She was extremely short and almost threatening in the way she spoke to me. I wish I could really explain how awful the experience was, but I don’t want to relive it. Just avoid this place because it’s certainly not ā€œurgent careā€ and the person at the front desk will be annoyed that you’re sick and need help.
I’d give zero stars but it doesn’t give me the option. I’ll give this star solely to the nurse who actually helped. The doctor seemed overworked and ready for his shift to end. Didn’t give her a Covid or flu test. When I asked if he thought he should he said ā€œwe couldā€, then didn’t. Gave the ā€œprobably just a virus ā€œ diagnosis.

Had a very bad experience here. The two ladies at the front desk were incredibly rude and unprofessional. It was kind of shocking how little they cared for my well being. I was seriously ill and they chose to be as unkind as possible. Truly don’t know why. The nurse inside was very nice and helpful. The doctor was ok but didn’t do much. Its too bad people who are sick have to experience this when they are at their lowest and just need help.

Avoid!

The two front desk staff were unprofessional and gave a lot of attitude. My friend was vomiting and slumped in her chair, close to passing out. The two ladies at the front desk were laughing and joking loudly the whole time with no regard to her wellbeing. Complete lack of empathy.

When we asked one of the staff members for an update she rolled her eyes. We waited for an hour to be called back. They told us we were next in line, but others who were not visibly sick were taken ahead of us.

We asked for blankets but no one was able to find any. Only one doctor on staff at 6pm.

The RN was great but that's about it.

Read this whole review, it will enlighten you. I went to this urgent care on 1-17-25, for what I suspected to be a blood clot. I was ultimately correct! This is actually the 2nd time I went to this urgent care for what turned out to be a blood clot. The first date was,7-23-24. Same leg, same region of first clot. I was in Chatham the first time. I called my PCP, Dr. Rittner, about this strange pain, Dr Rittner is a great PCP. I told Dr. Rittner I thought i had a clot. He implored me to go right to an emergency room. Since I live in chestnut hill, i decided on this location. I’ve played sports & worked out my whole life. I’ve had numerous injuries & I know pain. The pain in my calve was unique to any pain I ever had. I deduced it was a clot. As it turned out I was correct. In July, when I first came to this urgent care, I was blessed & got a great doctor. He came into my room after the scan & told me I had a clot.He explained everything I need to do & what not to do. He told me the medication he will prescribe is as effective as the most costly brand, ELIQUIS. This Doctor put me on Xarelto. He saved me hundreds of dollars. I followed up with my pcp who echoed everything the urgent care Doctor said, medically. I did very well on Xarelto! No issues, clot gone. Everyone knows blood thinners can be troublesome. The fact that I did well on Xarelto, had the same clot in same leg. It stands to reason if it works- don’t break it. Fast forward to 1-17-25, my second clot. First & foremost, the receptionist, the nurses, & the technician who scanned me, all excellent! Just true pro’s, especially the technician. She was thorough. So why am I giving one star? Great question! Dr Adler was a 1 star Dr. Hey, I know it’s a busy place & it was closing time. So I asked a nurse who my Dr. was & walked over to Dr Adler. I explained who I was & what was she going to prescribe me. She said Eliquis! My immediate response was, this is 3x the price of the blood thinner I previously did, & did well on. Her retort? She writes Eliquis predicated on the fact it was easier to write. This was her logic. Ok! She didn’t factor in that it’s the highest priced blood thinner on the market, or that I did well on Xarelto with the same clot previously. Or Eliquis is 100’s of dollars more than the blood thinner that delivers the same results.Very odd! Plus I had other suspicions. I said I want Xarelto. She then said she will need to look up how you take Xarelto. So because she was unfamiliar with how you write a Xarelto prescription, she’d rather write a far more expensive prescription that’s easier to write. With Xarelto you start with 2, 15 mg pills a day, for 21 days. You then go to one a day 20 mg pills for a total of 90 days. Plus Dr. Adler never examined me or explained my scan. No exam! Incredible! And because of the way she wrote the Xarelto, it couldn’t be filled that night! With clots, a doctor will make sure the pharmacy has the medication, as written, in stock. Which is exactly what the last doctor did & other doctors have done for serious issues. Not Dr. Adler! So I had to wait until the next day due to the way the prescription was written. Everyone knows it’s imperative you start clot meds immediately. It was a stressful night, to say the least! Wondering how quickly I’d be able to get my medication. Or if clot would travel to my brain.i’m being very serious because a clot is a serious issue. Factor in no exam, no explanation, this was truly unprofessional. To top it off, the rationale in writing a far more expensive medication. This was a one star experience. I might reach out to the board of registration in medicine. This was a horrible experience! . To cap it off, not being able to fill the prescription. I think my review is written kindly. Dr. Jamie Adler might be a great person. A kind person. A great Doctor. But on 1-17-25 she was subpar. I get that it was close to closing, it was busy, that working long hours in a busy place can grind you down. There is still no excuse for everything I outlined! No exam? Come on!

Traumatizing! I came to this Urgent Care for something I know I had before and while testing, they diagnosed something different that they said is more important than what I came for. When I returned to tell them that they forgot to give me a prescription for what I originally came for because I was still suffering from the same symptoms 2 days later, they said I have to check in again and cannot give me a prescription. The nurse in her loud voice wasn't even trying to be apologetic to their mistakes. She was more arrogant than helpful.

I somehow feel I was too nice to this nurse. When she was putting the IV dextrose to my right arm, the blood spurted to my shirt and the bedsheet. The nurse rushed her hand to the cabinet to get cottons to wipe my blood all over my arm. Erratic? Inexperienced? Lack of training? I didn't even make a comment or reaction on her mess that time.

Attached picture after she cleaned up. But you can still see the mess

Although I am thankful that they found that "something more important", I can hardly recommend this urgent care to anyone if he or she has other choices.

Horrible!!!
People booking appointments get to walk right in while seniors with urgent medical issues are made to wait multi hours?
A doctor's office makes you wait even if you have an appointment but here your allowed to jump right in front of everyone including seniors who with multiple urgent symptoms
Rude rude incompetent medical reception staff, just pathetic

Have been here twice and have had a great experience both times. Yes you might have to be patient but that’s to be expected and everything goes smoothly otherwise. Nurses and doctors are very kind.
