Ashley is a wonderful doula! The first thing my husband and I did when we found out I was pregnant was to look for a doula. When we interviewed Ashley we loved everything about her and knew she would be a great fit. We were trying to decide whether to have another hospital birth or try a home birth and Ashley helped guide us in making our decision to have a home birth. She checked in on me throughout my pregnancy and was great to have during my birth. There’s so many little things that go on while in labor that you don’t realize how nice it is to have someone, besides your husband, to help. One of the best parts about hiring Ashley as our doula was her postpartum support. She went above and beyond for me. She picked up my placenta pills and brought them to my house, brought a gift basket, let me borrow baby carriers and even brought my older daughter a gift for her birthday. I am so happy to have found Ashley she truly marked a difference in our pregnancy and postpartum journey.

There is a reason why they call doulas birth angels. Ashley is a god sent for sure! My husband and I like so many couples were on the fence about hiring a doula. We eventually decided that having one would make us feel more at ease with our first born.
We stumbled upon Birth within Doula and I am SO happy we did. We had an interview with Ashley and we instantly felt we made the right choice. I cannot make the decision to hire a doula for you, but I can advise you to hire Ashley as one.
We gave birth during a very uncertain time when a pandemic was going on. Ashley made us feel safe, heard and loved every step of the way. The amount of love, thought and care this woman pours into each client is beyond any care you would get from a normal provider.
We had originally planned on using a birth center and doing an all natural birth with a midwife. Ashley helped mentally prepare us and made us feel confident in our decision.
Even though my birth went completely different then I had planned (which I learned is just about how every birth goes!), Ashley was still there every step of the way. She was my strength when I felt discouraged. She was my calm when I felt scared.
It's the little things she does for you that make her outstanding. She's really only a phone call or text away. She is so knowledgeable about her passion and gives endless resources.
Even after our unplanned c section, Ashley still continuously reached out to me to see how I was emotionally, mentally, and physically.
This was our first pregnancy. I have no idea what the next pregnancy and birth journey will be like but I know I want Ashley right there with me again.

I hired Ashley to be my doula for my second home birth. She was highly recommended to me by my midwife and I couldn’t have been happier with my experience! Ashley has sooo much knowledge of all things birth which is great, but what makes Ashley so valuable is the peace and comfort that she brought to my whole pregnancy. I had a really rough pregnancy and having her be there for me when I needed someone was so helpful. She brought that same peace and calm to my birth and I really believe that she helped me have such a smooth experience! She sat with me and watched as contractions got more intense. She communicated with my midwife for me while I labored. I loved how she made me feel so comfortable and safe. I am so thankful she was a part of my pregnancy and birth journey and that she is now a friend!

Ashley is an awesome doula. As a midwife I recommend all of my clients at least meet her. She offers the perfect amount of support, calm and peaceful energy that a birthing woman needs. Ashley has lots of experience with birth, what is normal, and how to help a woman accomplish her goals. She specializes in helping Vbac mamas as she had of Vbac with her most recent birth . Having a Doula at your birth, to me, is more of a necessity than a luxury. If you hire Ashley you will not be disappointed!

She was so helpful when it came to getting my husband on board also, she provided us with scientific information that helped my husband be more at ease with our decision to not only birth at home, but birth naturally after having a surgical birth. Ashley was amazing to work with. After my experience with her as my doula, I highly recommend everyone having a doula.

My labor was long and hard, and, in the end, we had to move forward with an emergency c-section. Ashley was there every step of the way - encouraging me, supporting me, and making sure I was aware of anything I may have missed while laboring. During the procedure, having Ashley in the operating room was such a blessing. She partnered well with my husband, and together they were able to create a peaceful labor and a good experience in the operating room. I would highly recommend Ashley to anyone looking for a doula.

After delivery, and during recovery, her knowledge of first hand postpartum care regarding a c-section was invaluable. I am so grateful that she is apart of our birth story.

I can’t thank Ashley enough for everything she did to help us with the arrival of our baby boy! We couldn’t have asked for a more kind, calm, strong, skilled and helpful doula. Seriously, I was in labor for 48hrs and she was right there to help keep me AND my partner sane! We wanted to have a home birth and so Ashley also helped me stick to my birth plan. I will definitely ask her to be my doula for baby number two and refer her to friends and family!
