My daughter has had nothing short of an extraordinary experience with The Baker School of Dance & Fitness. The teachers, the owners (including the new one), has shown compassion, patience, enthusiasm, and real passion for the love of dance and fitness. My daughter looks forward to working with Miss Cherie and the other amazingly talented staff every week - so much so that she is continuing to take classes this summer! I am very pleased with the The Baker School and would highly recommend it. Not only am I proud of my daughter's accomplishments, I am also proud to see her classmates grow and enjoy what they are doing!

My Daughter has danced on and off for the last 14 yr at Bakers. It is a very warm and loving environment. There has been some growing pains as this is true when ever ownership is transferred. I would not even think twice if my Daughter want to dance again this year, however she had made the choice to be more involved at school for her senior year. This is a wonderful family run dance studio.

Taking lessons at The Baker School of Dance has been a big part of my life recently, and a true pleasure. While trying to prepare for my future with dance auditions and choreography the new owner has been accepting and kind hearted, welcoming me to the world of dance with open arms, teaching me with patience and enthusiasm as my teacher. Not only have the classes and environment been amazing but also the school has worked flexibly to fit my schedule which has been a huge relief preparing for college these past few months. Reading other reviews I see complaints about communication between parents and teacher yet the communication I have with the new owner has improved me as a person. Instead of patronizing me as a young adult and communicating through my parents my dance schedule is worked out through my teacher and I
regularly, improving my maturity through new organization and communication skills. I have danced with bakers school before for Irish step years ago, and I can easily say that the atmosphere at the school has not changed, and it is still an amazing and impressive studio, where I have come a long way in my dance world in only the past few months! A great part about the school is how comfortable they have made me feel. The true confidence and faith my dance teacher has in me has convinced me she is doing this for my benefit not caring about a late payment you can clearly see these instructors are not in this just for money but because they know their students are improving and blossoming as dancers. The best part is I always look forward to my time at the studio because I truly know it is a place of fun, and at the same time that hard work pays off!

Baker's school of dance and fitness is the place to go if you want hot dance steps and fitness out the wazoo!! I love going to Miss. Baker, a strong nurturing teacher! Cherie puts all of her heart into teaching her up and coming stars in and her fitness client routine and class plan! Not to mention how fun and excited I am to go! Keep up the great work!

The Baker School of Dance and Fitness has been a second family for my daughter for the past eight years. The teachers there have taught her so much more than dance, and as a result my daughter has grown as a dancer and an individual. While practicing technique and becoming stronger and more flexible, she has also learned healthy habits, responsibility, and time management. She often refers to the studio as her "happy place" where she goes to relieve stress. I have watched her become more self confident and passionate, and I am grateful for the life lessons taught by the positive role models who create the dynamic atmosphere at this studio.

If you're looking to get in the best shape of your life, you need to work out here! I've lost approximately 30lbs since I've been working out with Cherie for almost 2 years now. I've done everything from personal training to group fitness and have seen amazing results! She is a certified personal trainer and truly practices what she preaches. She can also offer you nutritional advice for a healthier lifestyle to help achieve your goals even faster. Cherie truly cares and will help you get there as long as you're willing to put in the work. Love supporting a local family business - she is making them proud! The baker school is a very friendly and welcoming place.The children all receive special attention and training. It is a family friendly run environment and the instructors are certified through Dance Masters and Dance Educators of America where they receive on going training and were tested to belong.The recital This year was held in a great facility and went off professionally.The team has just returned from nationals where they're dived many high golds and elite awards and were invited to dance ai banquet which is special!
I wouldn't hesitate to send my child or grand child to Bakers as the new owner is a family member and the same standards that kept it going for over 50 years will continue.

This is now our second year doing dance at the baker school and I must say we are beyond thrilled with how well the school is run and how great Miss Cherie is with all the students.

In the first year my 5 year old gained so much confidence and learned so much! Now this year being the second year, within the first day she was able to do a multiple part dance with no problems what so ever. Cherie always has a smile on her face and is eager to teach the students each day. She gets the girls so into and it's such a wonderful experience to be a part of it. We love the baker school and would not go anywhere else!
