Dr. Taylor is an extraordinarily competent and compassionate physician. The medical expertise and high quality personal care I receive from Dr. Taylor is unlike any other medical experience I've ever had. Dr. Taylor's expertise is cutting-edge and she pursues new knowledge on medical/scientific/treatment developments so she can provide the most informed and empirically-grounded quality of care for each patient. She is well-connected with a network of specialists for medical issues that require patients go outside primary medicine and she follows those referrals and treatments carefully to make sure her patients are well cared for. The Blue Canyon Primary Care Practice is built on Dr. Taylor's values and it has been a pleasure and privilege to receive care there.

Dr. Taylor has been my primary care physician since Jan 2024. Before going to her, the most I ever thought about my doctors was that they were at the most, just OK; I never felt attached to any of them. If I moved, no big deal – I’d find a similar doctor at the new location. The very first time I met Dr. Taylor, I knew something was totally different than my previous experiences with the medical community. Dr. Taylor is the most approachable, caring, thorough, knowledgeable doctor I have ever encountered. She feels more like a trusted friend who is also my doctor. She doesn’t have to look into my chart to familiarize herself with who I am personally and what’s going on in my life. She actually knows me. She was immediately available for an emergency visit, and continued to follow up after. Dr. Taylor not only takes care of my physical needs, but she has helped me enormously with my emotional needs as well. I highly recommend Dr. Taylor, and I am thrilled that she is part of my medical and emotional well-being. Now I can never move!

Shayne Taylor is the kind of doctor everyone deserves and few people are lucky enough to have. She is highly knowledgeable (and, better still, willing to admit when she isn't), empathetic, flexible, and patient. Her Direct Primary Care model is unorthodox, but it allows her to give her patients authentic attention and generous amounts of time: commodities in scarce supply in modern medicine.

Seeing Dr. Taylor is what medicine should be. She was extremely talented at building rapport quickly and it was so nice to be able to sit and talk to a doctor and not be rushed. She thoughtfully listened to my questions and concerns and it was clear she was a wealth of knowledge. Even during the short wait between signing up and my first appointment (she was away at a conference), she reached out personally to check in.
