I always regret coming to this hospital every time that I do. Even when an appointment goes well.... There is always at least one staff member that ruins the entire experience.

ex: great appointment today..... until using the bathroom afterwards, where staff was trash talking the patients and using names of patients.

I want share the horrible experience I bad to go through after a surgery this morning, floor 4 observation unit is the worst place to be. It all starts from the MD’s, PCA’S Nurse(s), Social worker(s) to the front desk person feel when you have to request through your remote, they just are careless of patients. Take a nurse over 45 minutes to make it to a room, doctors are worst take them over an hour to make it to a room and just dude speak over you and just basically they tell it’s what they say or go home. Faulkner hospital has gotten way better please if you need emergency room service reconsider. Higher ups need to re-evaluate your hospital. HORRIBLE I am already having anxiety for an overnight stay.👎🏽

I love Boston Medical Center, Excellent Hospital. I used to go there to great doctors and nurses. Sometimes, you will find a miserable nurse . Who hates the job. I do recommend going to the hospital. The doctors have more knowledge on serval serious diseases. Especially if you are a foreigner. Boston Medical Center is an excellent hospital .

My husband fell and injured himself severely. He went to the emergency room at a different hospital, and he was diagnosed with several brain bleeds, five facial fractures, a broken shoulder, a broken wrist, and two broken ribs. Due to the brain bleeds, they felt it would be better if he were treated in boston. He was promptly transferred to Boston Medical Center where they immediately moved him to the Surgical and Neurosciences Intensive Care Unit (SICU). He received excellent care there for 3 days. He was transferred to the 4th floor and discharged to a rehab facility a couple of days later. A wide array of medical providers treated my husband, including doctors and nurses from neurology, orthopedics, anesthesia and ENT, physical and occupational therapists, and even social workers. Everyone behaved in the most professional manner, communicated well, listened, and treated my husband and my family with the utmost respect. I cannot overstate my gratitude and recommendation for this hospital.

I stayed at the Boston Medical Center and when I was in the intensive care unit after coming out of a serious opperation I was
money robbed at the hospital I couldn't believe it my pocketbook was missing from my draw that Was in the room I know now who was the one who stole it! She worked at the foodcourt delivers the food to the room and she had asked me what was the plastic thing I had in my hand I told her A phone stand that's when I had my pocketbook out and she was the only one who saw it they didn't have cameras working at the hospital very irresponsible was not happy put me tru more problems imagine that at the hospital had to replace all sorts of cards bankcard license foodcard gift card and money everything was veryupset besides being very sick! One lady who works at the desk over there I found out there were other victims too! She said to the person who stole my pocketbook want to let you know God see everything! You need help!

This poor rating is for the nurse I had after surgery on Menino 4 east this week! The care I got was awful. The nurse was nice person but an awful at caring for patients . I had jaw surgery was in so much pain . She had no sense of urgency . I was vomiting the liq Tylenol she tried giving me immediately and I wasn’t able to really swallow pills so she said she had to ask doctors about I v Tylenol meds said she would get back to me . She never got back to me for a long time ! She never checked in on how I was if I was still throwing up , if I was taking in any fluids or if I been icing . she just disappeared ! My bolus iv started beeping after 20min of no one coming to fix I pressed the nurses button for help still no one in site . All this beeping going on and no one came to help !! I could have been on the floor at that point . After laying there In pain groggy and gagging from the blood coming out of my nose and mouth I finally decided to get up and out of bed on my own . I got up wobbly on my feet I unplugged my beeping IV machine and walked to the door and started calling out into the hallways for help. Nurses light was still beeping and No one came for over fifty minutes When they did come back I never was allowed to finish my bolus instead of fixing it she just unhooked me even though I wasn’t taking any liq at all . cause I had been getting sick from anesthesia and sore from the surgery . So The bolus still hung on the pole full ? It was obscene that there was no one anywhere to help address patients care . I was offered ice pack only twice once that night and once early morning. It was the worst aftercare from surgery that I have ever experienced. The aid that came to help in the middle of the night was amazing. She cleaned helped me clean myself up from the vomiting and blood that I had been sitting in and tied my hair up gave me ice . When she did come in she would be checking herself out in the mirror . Not kidding !! When she should been. It was a nightmare . the worst night and I couldn’t wait to run out of there . My surgical staff was amazing all of them . But that nurse left to care for me after surgery should not be handling patients . On the other note everyone else was great . Never want to have to go back on that unit again

I went there with a friend for a radiation service. It was quick and staff was courteous. The crazy fact is that it is hard to get a parking place. And the Valet parking service is expensive. To have an idea of the price range, I took a picture and share here.
