I wanted my daughter's medical record because we were going to transfer her to another pediatrician, they charge $25 dollars to send the medical record. The reason why after 2 years I decided to move my daughter from this place is that my daughter needed follow-up after taking her to the emergency room and they did not want to receive her because overnight they no longer accepted the medical insurance that they had registered for the last 2 and a half years, it was a horrible experience, I would not have minded paying a fee for them to treat her, they are shameless, for some reason I felt discriminated against.Pediatricians are not to blame, as with any business there is always an administration behind it, they are the guilty ones

Our family has been with Briarpatch pediatrics for over 20 years. The care, our children and our foster children have received has been wonderful. They are compassionate, caring and accommodating. Thank you Briarpatch.

Great service from start to finish! Care teams are knowledgeable and my daughter walked away with assurance that her conjunctivitis was not going to result in an eye loss! Great job!

Doctors are great I’ve been going here since I was born and now my daughter goes here, never had any issue with any of the receptionist except for Tom not sure as he mumbles whenever he speaks and has absolutely no customer service skills and is always so rude and not patient whatsoever got a call this morning from another receptionist informing me of some issues with my insurance she was very respectful, when I called back I unfortunately had Tom answer the phone this is the second time I deal with him being very rude he was getting easily irritated, after I stated multiple times I would be calling my insurance again he kept dragging the conversation with the worst attitude ever and he ended the call with me very disrespectfully. If you guys have a receptionist especially at a healthcare facility you should have someone who is kind and respectful to others as you never know what a person could be going through!! Do better on who you guys hire and maybe review who you have hired right now!!
As for the respectful receptionist you’re appreciated and I know it’s not an easy job but thank you for being respectful no matter what kind of day you’re having!! 🙂

I called the office to learn more about the practice and see if they would be a good fit for our first child, who is due this year. The receptionist on the phone was not friendly and seemed annoyed at my request. She immediately asked me if I planned to get my child fully vaccinated. I responded YES, but I was interested in learning more about a delayed vaccination schedule (which they list as an option on their website), specifically mentioning Hep B as this is typically given day 1 in the hospital. She asked me to hold and then said that I was not welcome at their practice if I was planning on a delayed vaccination schedule. She clearly didn't listen to me nor had any interest in enrolling a new patient into the practice. As a new mother, I have many questions and want to learn the pros/cons of everything. Based on my 5min experience with Briarpatch Pediatrics, I wouldn't suggest this practice to any new parents. They clearly don't have any interest in giving options or educating parents on what's best for their baby.

I have two daughters, 2 and 4 weeks old and I absolutely love Briarpatch Pediatrics. The Drs, NPs, and nurses are all wonderful and caring. We especially love to see Sarah the Lactation Consultant, she has made breastfeeding with both my children a wonderful experience. I would recommend the team at Briarpatch to all my friends with children on the Cape!

Tom. thomas, thomas, thomas. just about the worst person you can have representing your practice. absolutely no compassion or social skills and is somehow still the person you have answering for you. mind you, i was removed from the practice PRIOR to aging out due to past due balances that i had repetitively tried to explain i couldn’t afford to pay the large sum they claimed was a “MINIMUM payment” before i could be seen again. what happened to putting down what you can afford?money hungry practice that no longer has the same value and care as when i was a child. i’m not sure what changed but i’ll be damned before i ever refer anyone to this practice. i’m not trying to be nasty in any manner i tried countless times over the phone to sort this stuff out and they just don’t seem to have that same care for their patients. some of us turned 18 and had all bills dumped on us and it’s not easy, so maybe next time be more considerate. it’s great that you can afford to pay your medical debt immediately, some of us aren’t so fortunate.
