I finally registered for VA Healthcare and with some doubt, made an appointment for a physical. I was completely surprised and impressed with the whole experience. The staff was knowledable, friendly and showed concern. They were all articulate and spent considerable time with me. The facility was clean and modern. I had a follow up with the Pharmacist to go over my meds and same thing, she was wonderful. I am now using the VA for my primary care. Thank you for making me feel welcome.

Im actually here now and they have excellent care. The experience I have had being in the hospital here for three days now has been great, the nurses and staff are very good, they are different from traditional civilian hospitals. The nurse you can tell actually enjoy coming to work, they want to be here which makes for a better experience for the patients.

This is for the lady at the front desk, working at about 9:00 am , 11/27 day before THANKSGIVING,when you call in to check on loved one, she was NOT KIND!! Very rude, unprofessional. She answered phone with a "mmm hmmm", not BROCKTON VA. I was sure I dialed correct number. Asked for her name but she quickly switched me to the ward my loved one was in. Is this what you want as the first person you come in contact with for this VA? If she treats people calling in to check in, it make some skeptical about how my loved one will be treated. I hope she is an isolated incident and is taught some better communication skills.

Dr Joo is an outstanding physician, extremely concerned with his patients well being. Will definitely go through barriers to ensure his patients are well taken care of. Dr Joo treatment of his staff is of utmost importance and professionalism.He takes very good care and respects his staff, which in turn makes for an extremely productive working environment.

My dad went to the Urgent Care & ended up being admitted. All the staff, nurses & physicians were super polite, kind, efficient, thorough and attentive! Better than other hospitals.
After thorough testing, he was treated & eventually released.
We couldn’t be more pleased with the way they handled everything.
Too many receive complaints and not enough compliments: this one is a heartfelt compliment!

My husband was a Hospice patient here for almost six months and passed away in Feb. of 2021. The staff on 7-2-C Lincoln are an amazing bunch of people, their dedication, passion and warmth conveyed not only to the patients they serve, but to the families as well. Even during visitation shut downs I was able to connect with my husband as much as possible. The brain injury my husband had would cause him to be very childlike, and the staff would show great patience and empathy for my husband. They would often sit with him to help him calm down, and they would play his favorite music, watch TV or just talk to him. I am beyond grateful that he was so well cared for and kept as comfortable as possible in the last months of his life. The VA gets a bad rap a lot in the media, but we have never had anything but wonderful care and compassion shown to us throughout the system.

The Va system has saved my life more than once,I have nothing but good to say about.Brockton is great,west Roxbury is great, j p in Boston not so much, everybody has bad days so the key word is patience ,thank you for watching out for us old guys.
