The staff at Brownings and I know most of them (Alex, Bill,Bob, Judy & Riley) plus many others over the years whose names I don’t have. They are always extremely helpful to me & my family from the small purchase of support socks (complete with use & care tips) hint: the gloves really DO help! To the large purchases of lift chairs, hospital bed and first rate mobility aids. Brownings is best & only place in Melbourne to go for these items.
I recently found out Brownings is also family owned & 50 yrs in Melbourne! I am very grateful to have the Brownings Family & team’s help caring for my family.

I will never go back to Browning's. The behavior of the guy who was in there was unbelievable - he acted like he was on drugs. It used to be a good place 1-2 years ago with different people helping. Also they re-arranged the store. I will have to find another place to buy medical supplies.

The pharmacist, Peter, went above and beyond to make it possible for my mother to obtain her prescription items. We were having difficulty finding the medication and supplies at the big box pharmacies, but Peter had them and filled the prescription as soon as the doctor sent the order. I called Peter several times over the course of a few days, and he was always professional and extremely courteous. I am thankful that Peter was the pharmacist. Peter, they don’t make them like you anymore. God bless you, and may the help that you provide to Browning's customers, especially during your time off, be returned to you tenfold. Thank you for all that you do for our community.

My experience, the past couple of days with Becca has been impeccable. She has gone over and above my expectations. Today, Tony delivered my supplies. He took his time, explaining how it worked asked if there was anything else he could do for me, was conscientious about the paperwork. Both of these employees made me feel like my situation was special and I had their upmost attention, rare these days in the world of customer service

Wanted to share a fantastic experience our family had at Brownings today. William, our salesman was awesome. My mother in law had reservations about the purchase. He patiently explained all the features of the lift chair. Thoroughly answered all of our questions. Then gave us space and time to discuss the purchase and make our decision. This is the type of service everyone should strive for.

If you are in the market for a lift chair or any medical equipment give them a try. You will not regret it.

My initial interaction was pleasant. But man, did it go downhill fast. I don't need to go into all the details as our experience was reminiscent of others who have had the misfortune of dealing with this pharmacy. We were told there was "too many variables" and that it was "too much work" by Donna🤡 when it came to billing our insurance who was ready and willing to accept the charge. Donna was rude and unprofessional during our phone calls and seemed frustrated by having to do her job. When we asked to pick up the physical paper prescription we had dropped off or if they would send it to another pharmacy, we were told "We don't do that and it's best to just call your doctor and have them send it elsewhere." Avoid this pharmacy at all costs. As a pharmacy tech myself, if I spoke to patients the way these people treated us, I would be FIRED.
