I met Dr. Gao within five minutes of my appointment time. He had already reviewed my file, then posed a few question while simultaneously confirming the medications listed in my chart with Honor Health: Finally asked me the purpose of my visit. After a brief discussion, he said it was important that I see a cardiologist sooner rather than later. So he sent a consult or referral to see a cardiologist. L

Dr. Gallo was very professional, affable,, I could tell was on top of his field. The visit was not rushed: He listened patiently; asked several follow questions which lend me to believe he really wanted to get to the bottom of the origin of my condition that brought me to see him, in order to make the proper initial the diagnosis and send me to the proper specialist

I wasn’t super impressed with the physicians bedside manner nor do I felt he cared about my shortness of breath or pleurisy. He repeated the chest Xray and basically said I sounded fine and to follow up again with my regular PCP 3 days later. I left there feeling like I was blown off. ( I was diagnosed with pneumonia the week before, completed antibiotics and still wasn’t feeling well, not even an offer for a breathing treatment, an inhaler or anything that would help with my symptoms) I won’t allow them to schedule me with him again. I’ll stick to an NP or PA next time.

I was truly impressed with the time and effort of Dr Kao, I met him twice so far and he was great answering my questions and concerns. He took his time until we figured out what we need to do next. I also sent him a chat with a question and I got a response very quickly, something I’m not used to unfortunately.
