I've been going to Cahaba medical center for about a year now and they are wonderful. I've never had to wait an excessive amount of time for my appointment. The Doctors, Physician assistants and support staff are all kind, caring and thorough. They take all the time you need to answer your questions so you understand. The office is inclusive. I get my labs, my ultrasounds, I just had my gynecological visit in house. Anything they don't do in house they get approved and referred immediately. I like them so much that I have my husband going to them now.

Cahaba Medical Care is AWESOME!! I changed my primary care doctor and started going to Cahaba Medical back in Feb. I could not be happier. Every single experience I’ve had with them has been a positive. The staff is always super nice. I’ve never had to wait more than 15 mins in the waiting room. Once you get called back to the exam room, I’ve never had to wait more wait more than 5 mins for the doctor to come in. Stephen Patterson is who I see and he is wonderful. I always feel like he listens to me. He takes his time and I never feel rushed. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. About a month ago, I needed a refill on one of my meds. I sent a message in on the patient portal to the doctor requesting the refill. I literally got a email back in 10 mins saying that the prescription had been sent to my pharmacy. 10 minutes is all it took! I love Cahaba Medical Group!

Been here twice - first as a new patient then back for lab work - I would gladly assign a 5 star - I’m a stickler for time - mine is as valuable as theirs - I understand unforeseen occurrences- yet an 8 am appt should not be late.

I appreciate all the care I’ve received since I started coming to the Clinic. All employees are very nice and treat me with respect and kindness. NP Katy Miller is my “doctor” and she’s so knowledgeable, nice and listens to everything I have to say and is always trying to help. I’m glad I have this place to go to when I’m in needing of medical care.

The staff are very friendly, and you get the impression that they are genuinely concerned about your well-being. However, the introduction of the computerized patient notification system in the office has somewhat diminished the hometown atmosphere.

We moved here from Colorado, and finding healthcare with our insurance was difficult. Cahaba medical has been a God send. I’ve met with a few practitioners/doctors, and they all have been kind, intelligent, empathetic, thorough and beyond generous with their time (hence why sometimes it takes a bit longer. I’m happy to give my time to let another patient be heard, because I have times when I need it too.) This has probably been the most efficient (they have so many services) medical practice I’ve ever been to. I feel seen, heard, and validated. I do think I am going to move my children to a pediatrics office because same day sick appointments are hard to nab, and urgent care just isn’t the best option for us. But 10/10 would recommend CMC.
