I have 2 special needs children, both of whom have been receiving ABA services for 7 years total, so far. The amount of positive growth my kids have had, as well as the drastic reduction in their negative behavioral issues has been tremendous. It is a direct result of the interventions and strategies provided by ABA.

The staff not only work with your kids to try and teach them how to act, behave and communicate in a manner that will make it easier for them to interact with neurotypical folks, but a huge part of what they do is to eventually start teaching you, the parent, those same techniques. ABA won’t always be there, and this place teaches YOU how to notice behavioral triggers, and how to address them, so that eventually YOU take over running programs with your child. So that they begin respecting your authority with correcting their behaviors as well.

YOU eventually get training in running programs for your kids, that you would see occupational, speech and recreational therapists doing, as well as learning how to tackle their behaviors.

The first year is hard… because it’s like breaking a wild mustang. There might be weeks or months of absolute defiance by your kid. You may be saying to yourself it isn’t worth it.. all my kid does is scream and refuse to work and say they hate ABA… DO NOT GIVE UP.

That’s because you are trying to break negative behaviors that have been in place for years. Don’t quit.

These people are amazing, and they want your kid to succeed. These people are like older siblings to my kids now. My wife and I cannot even imagine how much different our children’s lives would be without 360 Behavioral Therapy.

Once it ‘clicks’ with your kids, they stop fighting it, and actually start participating with it… it will change everything. Give it time, don’t give up.
