Everyone should be lucky enough to have a pharmacy like Caligor in their neighborhood. Located on the Upper East Side, they are proactive, highly professional, and friendly. Beware of the return policy and go to another medical supply store or shop online . . . I bought a metal step from Caligor to help my husband who has bad knees, get into the bathtub. It was not appropriate for him. I bought it off the floor all assembled because they didn’t have the same one in stock. I only asked that the salesman who was very helpful, clean it up since it had been a floor item. It was needed right away and we could not wait for one that could be ordered. When I attempted to return it within several days, Mitch the owner or manager or pharmacist in the back office, insisted on applying a 30% “restocking fee,” which reduced the refund. If you scroll down, you will read another review where Mitch is described as “disgusting and rude.” This item functions like a step ladder might and was not a sanitary type item that might rest upon a toilet bowl seat. It is surprising that a store which services people who have health needs, especially the elderly, is so unreasonable. Having lived in the neighborhood for almost 30 years, and with other medical supply stores to choose from in the city as well as online options, I will avoid Caligor in the future and suggest you do the same.

They are a great neighborhood pharmacy and sell everything from urine cups to knee.braces. Their staff will go the extra mile for you. The other day fiancee had lost his gloves and thought he could have left them there. He asked me to call and inquire. They actually looked and had another staff member look. I had called them and left a voice message inquiry. They actually called me.back to let me know. That is service in my humble opinion. Go there.and.have a look at the diverse products they sell.

Caligor is an extraordinary medical supply store and pharmacy. Each pharmacist I have dealt with is polite, professional and will walk the extra mile to get the customer what is needed. I used to use chain store pharmacies but they have all deteriorated in quality. Caligor is the gold standard in pharmacy operations. Mitch, the pharmacist, has come to my rescue more than once and I am so very appreciative.

I highly recommend Caligor, which is the best pharmacy I have experienced in New York. Everyone is smart, competent, helpful and kind. The pharmacy is amazingly helpful. They will send you your medication if you happen to be traveling when a refill is due.

Stopped in while visiting NYC. The staff is exceptional. Very friendly and helpful. The owner spent a long time chatting with us and gave us some great tips about the area. The store is very well stocked with everything you would expect in a real pharmacy. I found some pill containers that I have been searching for for years! Highly recommend this pharmacy!
