I come every Memorial Day weekend and it’s always a great time! The grounds are so relaxing and beautiful. The pools are lovely with great facilities at each one. Each day I wake up, grab a coffee at the double u, do a cold plunge and head off to back to back workout classes. Then I get a healthy lunch, head to the pool until it’s time for my spa service either before or after a healthy dinner. Every spa service I had this year was fantastic! I highly recommend deep tissue massage if that’s what you like! And the Venn Age Defying facial was lovely. I already miss the ranch and can’t wait to return!

As a first-time solo traveler and wellness retreat guest, I wasn’t sure what to expect—but Canyon Ranch exceeded all my expectations! From the moment I booked my stay, I received outstanding service. The wellness consultant spent nearly an hour carefully explaining everything and helping me select activities and treatments that best aligned with my goals.||The resort itself is stunning. The staff were warm, friendly, and incredibly accommodating, and the facilities and grounds were impeccably maintained.||Since I wanted this trip to be an opportunity to step outside my routine and focus on relaxation, I decided to try two hikes—and they did not disappoint! The trails offered breathtaking views, and as someone who had never hiked before, I found the intermediate-level difficulty very manageable. The guides on both hikes were fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and supportive.||The spa experience was another highlight. The services I received were top-notch, and the atmosphere was incredibly soothing.||One of the most meaningful parts of my stay was the one-on-one consultations—one with a mental health and wellness therapist and another with a spiritual wellness provider. These sessions gave me insights and experiences I had never encountered before, leaving me feeling rejuvenated and filled with a deep sense of positive energy.||The food was excellent—healthy, flavorful, and beautifully presented. While the portions were on the smaller side, there were plenty of delicious options to choose from.||As a solo female traveler, I initially had some concerns, but I quickly realized this was the perfect place for solo exploration and self-care. I had opportunities to connect with others when I wanted to, but I also cherished my quiet, reflective time alone. Honestly, I don’t think I would have had the same transformative experience if I had traveled with someone else.||I left Canyon Ranch feeling refreshed, inspired, and ready to return. Without a doubt, I will be visiting again in the future! If you’re considering a wellness retreat—whether solo or with friends—I highly recommend it.

Canyon Ranch is a perfect oasis for wellness and truly a 5-star resort. I can’t rave enough about how magical and special this place is. I absolutely loved my trip there! To start, the location is exquisite and peaceful; Canyon Ranch has designed exceptionally beautiful grounds that showcase the stunning Catalina Mountains. Every space has been thoughtfully and immaculately curated. The service from start to finish was outstanding, and the staff is genuinely kind, caring, friendly, polite, and helpful. In particular, Laura (part of the management team) went out of her way to make sure every need was met. My hiking guides were extremely competent, friendly, fun, and professional. I had one of the best hikes in North America here! April is definitely a nice month to visit; warm, but not hot, and beautiful grounds with unusual flora and fauna blooming. My room was stunning, beautifully spacious and cozy at the same time, and I loved the bathtub. There are many classes and activities to choose from, and they were PHENOMENAL. I was blown away by how good the instructors were. The spa is very modern, immaculate, and abundantly stocked with every amenity you might need. I was amazed by the treatments. I’ve gone to a lot of resorts where the food and spa services don’t live up to the hype. Canyon Ranch exceeded my expectations. If everyone spent just 3 days at Canyon Ranch, it would change our world for the better. We are meant to live joyfully all the time, not just in a few passing moments each year. The power to live this way lies within each of us. If you don't believe this, Canyon Ranch will prove it to you and give you the tools to get started living your life's purpose.|||I have travelled to many resorts and this is one of the best in the world in terms of a luxury wellness destination; from the location, high quality service, food, activities, spirituality, and spa experiences, and luxe accommodations…. kudos to the management and team at Canyon Ranch. I will be visiting again very soon.

Canyon Ranch is a gift! The land and ground are healing places and then you add the amazing food, outdoor adventures, classes, and metaphysical offerings and you've got a magical place! I loved the bike ride in Saguaro National Park with cyclist guide Cindy. My astrology reading was an amazing experience (with Shivani). Yoga with sound healing was one of my favorites. If I could afford to stay longer, I would and I hope to go back.

With the raving reviews, our expectations were heightened. The biggest disappointment was the quality of the food. We are far from foodies, and some dinners were barely edible. The chicken was so dry and lacking any type of flavor..|It had to be abandoned. |We found the outdoor cafe to be a better alternative. |The spa service was at best, Ok |Massage was delivered with minimal warmth from the therapist, good but very impersonal. As if this had been her 20th service of the |day..|The biggest problem however, the incredibly musty smell of our room. It had to be ventilated for hours to get rid of the smell. It honestly smelled like it had been closed up for years. After 3 days it never really went away |Overall, an average experience at best

This review is from my stay during New Years 2024. I've to say that Canyon Ranch Tucson is an oasis of peace and a place to come to disconnect and recharge. The grounds are beautiful with lots of activities to choose from. The Sonoran Desert Landscape is unique and invites peace and reflection. The food is quite healthy, the suites are spacious and private. If you are into yoga, outdoor activities, meditation or just want to self reflect and energize yourself this is the place to come.

I had a fantastic time at Canyon Ranch. The food was incredible and all you can eat. I will say that for a "health spa", the food was pretty unhealthy - lots of high-carb Mexican food. I would like to give a special shout out to Chef Robert and his incredible omelette bar.

The classes are great but a ton of them are an additional fee for no apparent reason. The services are also fantastic but insanely expensive. You can tell that private equity bought this place to extract as much money as they could out of health-focused individuals. If you want a spa getaway and want to drop $10k for the week then this is your place.

I can't say enough good things about my stay at Canyon Ranch. I recently went for three nights, and it was my first trip there. Truly, everything I hoped it would be. Pure luxury, so relaxing and quiet, and just well-run all around. Nothing every feels crowded at Canyon Ranch, and I loved that. Everyone working there is so professional and nice. My room was basically one half of a duplex, so it's very private and quiet. It was clean, spacious (with tall ceilings), comfortable, and a beautiful view out a wall of windows. All the products in the room (e.g., lotion, body wash) smelled so good. Rooms are spread out around the resort (there isn't a central "hotel" with all the rooms), and I loved the location of my room near the edge of the property. It was about a 3-minute walk to the main spa and a 5-minute walk to the dining options, but in that beautiful landscape, I cherished the walk. And can I pause there for a moment to stress how beautiful the grounds are? Nestled in the foothills of the Catalina mountains, the views and landscaping are gorgeous, but it is all just so tranquil with native vegetation, water features, and so many quiet spaces to sit and read or just sit and enjoy the nature. As for the activities, there are so many to choose from and such a good variety. Most activities are free, but there are some for an extra $. There are multiple options for every hour of the day 6am-5pm (with a few evening options). The activities are very well run with good instruction, knowledgeable instructors, and pristine facilities. The activities start and end on time. Really appreciated that attention to time. The locker-room experience is also great with your own locker assigned at the beginning of your stay. Locker rooms are so clean, and easy access to personal care products, changing rooms, bathrooms, showers, jacuzzis and a cold dip pool, and the sauna. My package came with $300/night spa services, and I chose one spa service per day. Strong recommendation for the Desert Ritual. What a luxurious and pampered experience. All my spa services were great. I felt entirely comfortable with the staff, and they were very good at their jobs. I also liked that Canyon Ranch is truly all-inclusive with no tipping. That makes for a much more comfortable and smooth experience, although I would have liked to learn that up front instead of having to Google it and find it on the website FAQs. ||And the food. So good. You pretty much have access to food for most of the day. I didn't do in-room dining, but there's an option for that, too. I went to the Double U Cafe for lunch every day (and one breakfast), and I went to Vaquero for breakfast and dinner. So many good options for food at either location. Always easy to get seating out on the pool deck (or inside) at the Double U. Easy to get seating at breakfast at Vaquero, but you do need reservations for dinner. Service is so attentive and friendly. Food portions are great for not over-eating, but you can always order more if you're still hungry! So many menu options for starters, sides, and mains; some food options rotate each day, with many items on the menu every night. There's also a chef's station every night where the chef prepares food made-to-order. When I was there, we had a pasta station, pho station, and curry station. There's also a small salad bar. The food is tasty and healthy, and that's exactly what I wanted for my stay at a wellness resort. Though you cannot order alcohol in the dining room (which surprised me), there is a cantina where you can order a cocktail or wine or you can have wine service to your room. You also are allowed to bring alcohol from outside to enjoy in your room. Alcohol is not part of the all-inclusive, though my cocktail was very reasonably priced at $15. ||The stay at Canyon Ranch is expensive, no doubt, but for me it was worth every penny.
